After TF2, nobody has figured out how to make an arena FPS that normies will play, and the armchair game devs who always pretend like they know how to make it work don't actually know either. GD Studio is taking another stab at that gargantuan task by trying something new and putting in the effort.

9.8/10, Absolute masterpiece. Never has a game with a controller had this great of movement and combat, been this challenging, or shown me so much respect for my gaming abilities.

The only other souls-like I played through before this was Code Vein, so Nioh 2 was quite a challenge for me. I chose to do no summons of any kind and died over 1,400 times playing through the campaign and side missions. If that kind of a challenge sounds fun, you're in the right place. If not, leave now, or maybe pick it up with a friend.

Lots of fun to play with a buddy, even if they aren't into AFPS!

It's filled with characters and environments which feel intentionally designed, creative, and genuine. These make for an immersive and captivating world to explore. I rarely experience that so much in a game. The combat is frustrating when you lose because it can set you back a bit, but eventually you stop losing with ease. I never buy games unless they are on sale, including this, but if I bought it for full price I would be satisfied.

Super fun to play with... a friend. Some of the most fun I've had playing a shooter with a RL buddy.

Probably my favorite co-op experience of all time. It's very hard to describe what makes the game good. The silliness ramps up slowly--just enough that you can't tell if they are trying to be campy or if it just comes out that way. When you listen to the dialogue enough you will feel like you're having a stroke (in the best way possible). As time goes on you realize the gameplay is actually solid and the weapons are unique and fun to use. I highly recommend committing to the game with a buddy.

Darksiders III aggressively brings nothing to the table.

After I put some time into the game I felt that it had the best combat of any single player RPG I've ever played. Although some of the storyline is not interesting, I felt more immersed in the world of the game and its plot than any other RPG as well. One of the bosses in the DLC has what I thought to be the most compelling backstory of an enemy in a video game. It's not as polished as some RPGs but it's my favorite.
