Cannot recommend this game enough.
Game is so enjoyable when playing it give me goosebumps.
No real action, but choices are spur-of-the-moment and either have agency, or are really enjoyable to make.
I suggest going into this game knowing as little as you can about it.

Other than that, I've played the game five times and not sure if I'll ever go back to playing it. Probably will re-download it in five years and play it another 2 times.

"Mirror's-Edge meets Dead-Island"
I've heard that a lot, and it couldn't be more true.

Real fun game to run around in and just hang out, explore, level, and scavange, but also with a decent (though sometimes a bit predictable) story.

Great game, both as a single-player experience, and as co-op experience.

"Night invasions" aren't a great idea to have enabled except if you have 2 or more people playing though... 1v1 (Human vs Zombie) just isn't that fun, but 2v1, 3v1, or 4v1 can be a pretty grand (and heart-racing) time, with nothing but lot and pride on the line.

I advise the buy of this game for just about anyone, assuming you can run it properly on your computer (that was Originally a problem, but not the game has been updated a bit and can be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for cheaper if ya get the Enhanced Edition on sale).

Overall:
Cannot recommend.
Had a few very irksome technical problems [no audio in most cutscenes, which I found a patch online somewhere] and a few different levels closed doors in ways that I couldn't advance, I just had to reload the checkpoint to do that part again.

Story:
Story is... fine.
I say that because it is predictable as hell. If you know any plot of any zombie story, you will see every last thing happen before it does so, and not very uniquely at that.

Puzzles:
Overly simple. Only time I had any trouble was if the controls didn't register me clicking a button, which was somewhat often, as the movement is purposely slow.

I say for most games "get it if it's on sale", but this one isn't really worth your time, sorry if that sounds like a bummer.

Seems like an overall decent game, but has had terrible frame-per-second issues making it pretty unplayable or unenjoyable most of the time. Also it takes an average of three minutes to boot (showing a black screen for that duration). I am a big steath fan, but overall those problems just make it quite bad.
