Best Co Op game I've ever played.

Also the best developers ever. There was a post on Reddit asking for a feature and within 8 hours it was patched into the game.

The core gameplay loop involves exploring, mining for resources, and fighting off giant bugs. All of the classes have utility that plays off of the other classes. It makes for an incredibly fun co op experience. Lower difficulties involve fun peaceful exploring and mining, higher difficulties are an intense race for minerals while hoping to survive massive swarms of bugs.

The graphics are initially unimpressive, a little bit cartoony. But the graphics quickly grow on you and are honestly really beautiful on missions. The lighting especially is a highlight for the games visuals. Watching flares light up a dark path is great. Each Biome is generated different and feels unique.

The games cosmetics are also a fun part. There is a large spectrum between silly and serious cosmetics. The drive to unlock more, to show them off to your friends is a major part of the game and a main drive to want to continue delving deeper into the planet.

Single player is solid. You get a robot companion who is very helpful and fills the gaps that not having all of the 4 classes leaves. But cooperative play is definitely the games main strength. I have played a lot of the single player and I still find it fun though.

The game is in early access but it really feels like a complete game. But still the developers manage to find more and more to add. There are bugs, but they are patched very quickly. This game is not like other early access games, it is an example of early access done not just right, but above and beyond.

I honestly can't praise this game enough. I think it's one of the best games ever made. I am super excited for launch and all of the content that is to come.
