I'm not a huge fan of this type of game usually. I'm more into Smash Bros and FPS games. But, man, this game is really, really good. I've run into a few weird bugs (enemies being hit but not taking damage, wall exploding but leaving an invisible wall in it's place), but these are rare.

I only have three complaints, none of which really effect my opinion of the game as a whole:

1. the main DLC is very expensive and you really have to like the game to justify the price.

2. the nature of the game (using procedural generation), on very rare occasions, screws you over. There's a mission I got to about half-way through the game that required me to defend a relay tower (a pretty common mission type). The problem was that the giant AT-ST walker - looking enemies literally just showed up (meaning I had very little in the way of dealing with them quickly) and could one-shot the tower (if you didn't know, depending on the location of the enemy, they may ignore you and aim for the objective, and it spawned literally on the table that the tower was touching). There was literally no way I could win that mission. Luckily, the game allows you to lose missions and still continue the game (albeit with an understandable penalty), but I'm still mad that the game threw a literal unwinable situation at me, even though it had very little impact on the run through in the long run.

3. The performance is... to put it lightly... lacking. I have a pretty solid computer, especially for a game that's a few years old (GTX 1070, Ryzen 7, etc.), yet this game can still hardly run at 45fps. Not that it really matters, being a turn based game. It honestly isn't that noticeable about 60% of the time. But, when the frame rate dips (which happens a lot, especially when it's raining) it dips HARD. Again, it doesn't really effect the game that much, but it's still worth mentioning.

Lastly, I've seen a lot of reviews complaining about crashes, really extreme bugs, etc. Not sure it it's because I'm not using mods (yet) or something else, but the game has only crashed for me once (in a loading screen), and I haven't run into any game-breaking bugs ether. Maybe I've been lucky or something...

Let me start this off with saying, this is the best hitman game I've played. It is a great game with very few flaws.

So why the dislike? For one, very large problem. The game keeps crashing within 2 minutes of starting a mission. I feel like this is a issue only a few people are having, but no matter what I do I can't fix these crashes.

For that reason, I cannot recomend it. it use to work perfectly a year ago, but, for me at lease, the game is unplayable right now.

I'm gonna start out with saying this is a good game, possibly great. So why the dislike? The god awful controls. This game basically requires you to have a controler. If you just have a keyboard, like everyone who's complained about the controls, you'll have an awful challenge. For now, I'll be refunding the game until/if I get a controler. Besides that, which is a really big fault on this port, the game is good. If you have a controler, you'll love this game. If you only have a keyboard, good luck.

I use to love this game (see total hours played). But now, I can't. Not only are there still a ton of issues with the game (which they have the money to fix, being as they get a chunk of money every time someone buys this), but now the developers are going after others who "copy" the battle royal format. Guess what? PUBG isnt the first battle royal game! This game is basically a copy of an Arma Mod, along with about 10 other games. The heads at PUBG are a bunch of hypocrites. That's just the topping on the cake. Fix the glitches instead of being worried that a different game will take all your players, because if you don't fix the huge issues with your game, people will stop playing. I just wish there was another more realistic battle royal game out there. Fortnite isn't my cup of tea, but I'll gladly play that before I play a game made by a company that can't even fix its own game an dthey freak out when their inability to fix it causes people to leave. I'm just upset I spent so many hours on this game hoping it would get better only to now realize it won't, because the developer is spending all of its time and money fighting a losing court battle.

Great premise, bad exicution. If they advertised this game correctly, or if you used a little common sense, we'd know this game was a lie. Now, if multiplayer was part of the game, if it wasnt so repetative, and was more fun, I'd recommend this game. However, this is not a game. This is more of a great tech demo.

Easily one of the best, if not the best, gaming benchmark software. I say "one of the best" because, at least for the PC's I've build, Crossfire won't activate. I have never tried with SLI, as every build I've done for myself or others has had only one GTX card or one or two AMD cards. Other than the problem of Crossfire not working, this is fantastic benchmark software.

Edit: You guys know how we were told to download that update for AMD GPUs... Ya. That ACTUALLY WORKS!!!! The frame rate isnt that great and crossfire/SLI doesn't work, but at least it's playable! Below is my old review...

Easily the worst lanch for a game yet. I have a pretty powerful pc, so I wans't expecting the long load times or SUPER bad texture problems. I'm confused by this because they have had people playing the game for months now. How are the textures so messed up? I've tested this on two PC's and I know it's not the hardware. I know they will fix this, but until then, there is no point in buying this game. The game is very close to unplayable with some of the texture proplems right now. Once they fix this, I'm sure it will be a great game.
