While having no personal hate or disdain for this game or the franchise in general, I just couldn't find it very entertaining. It felt odd and slightly uninteresting to start out your game, you're shot in the head and need to find out who did it while learning about why you're doing it along the way. With a seemingly enticing start you'd expect it to be as interesting, well, it doesn't feel that way. If you're going straight into it after playing Fallout 3, it feels a little overwhelming and confusing. Not only do you start out with new perks and the survival skill, which makes me feel as if it was slightly more grindier than F3. I mean, I never felt the need to use the workbench unless I was directly going for a special item to craft. Other than that, the story itself felt mostly dull. Even skipping aside all of the random side quests, I lost almost all interest and intrigue just getting to Vegas itself.

Yes, I know I haven't put as much time into Fallout New Vegas as much as others, but I have slipped through several videos on YouTube as well as Wikipedia to fill up gaps. I've seen the alternative endings, but, trying to fit myself into them? I couldn't get myself to it.

And I feel like I'm going to get a lot of backlash for posting this review, but I just wanted to state my opinion on this game as others do on Fallout 3 or Fallout 4, because this is how I feel and I wonder if others do too.

If you're looking for a Wild West Story, well, then this could be for you, but if I wanted to get a friend into this series, I'd definitely not start him on this one.
