Early Access Review
A Pirate's life for nobody because not even the most BDSM of masochists could stand this game for five minutes.

The dedicated servers suck because of players, the Non-Dedicated Servers you host with friends suck because you'll get Fatal Errors if you try to join AND try to host. A lot of themes, models, sound effects, etc. from Ark can still be seen in the game and have yet to be adjusted.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this game, I love the grind and the concept. But if I can't play it with my buddies because their hosting platform is so painfully awful, then this game isn't worth the effort of a good review. Fix it and I'll be back sailing and making loud "Arrghs".

The Best DLC compared to all other ARK DLCs in my opinion. Took on a different aspect of survival than just different biomes and avoiding monsters, here, there is no avoiding it. Take them head on, and survive in the scorched hell that is Scorched Earth.

While having no personal hate or disdain for this game or the franchise in general, I just couldn't find it very entertaining. It felt odd and slightly uninteresting to start out your game, you're shot in the head and need to find out who did it while learning about why you're doing it along the way. With a seemingly enticing start you'd expect it to be as interesting, well, it doesn't feel that way. If you're going straight into it after playing Fallout 3, it feels a little overwhelming and confusing. Not only do you start out with new perks and the survival skill, which makes me feel as if it was slightly more grindier than F3. I mean, I never felt the need to use the workbench unless I was directly going for a special item to craft. Other than that, the story itself felt mostly dull. Even skipping aside all of the random side quests, I lost almost all interest and intrigue just getting to Vegas itself.

Yes, I know I haven't put as much time into Fallout New Vegas as much as others, but I have slipped through several videos on YouTube as well as Wikipedia to fill up gaps. I've seen the alternative endings, but, trying to fit myself into them? I couldn't get myself to it.

And I feel like I'm going to get a lot of backlash for posting this review, but I just wanted to state my opinion on this game as others do on Fallout 3 or Fallout 4, because this is how I feel and I wonder if others do too.

If you're looking for a Wild West Story, well, then this could be for you, but if I wanted to get a friend into this series, I'd definitely not start him on this one.

Realm of the Mad God is a fun free roam game, full of monsters that will be happy to bite your face off. Though dying in the game can make you very angry, at least you still have the level bonuses from killing monsters. The only thing I don't enjoy about it is the constant advertisements.
