I think it's interesting how Muhammad Ali is revered by muslims around the world when, by all accounts, he had misguided beliefs. He was a member of Nation of Islam (NOI) which considers Wallace Fard Muhammad and Elijah Muhammad to be prophets and messengers of God. This contradicts the tenants of Islam, where there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His final messenger
