Ever just felt like turning an enemy into a chicken for a bit? (I will come back to this question) Divinity: Original Sin 2 is one of the if not the best game that I have played so far this year (2017). I am not usually a fan of turn based strategy rpg games. Rather I gravitate more towards rpgs such as skyrim or diablo. But I can say without a shadow of a doubt that even if you are not a fan of this style of game it is at least worth a try. Mixing combat style from Xcom, the story depth of a D&D game, and the enviroment of a classic fantasy rpg, this game is able to bring to life not only the characters you play, but also the enviroment and everything else around you. Say you don't like the view of the game so zoomed out...well then just zoom in a little more. Do you wanna play a wizard who can also smash a few heads with an axe? Then you have found the right game! The character creation and combat of this game allow you to tailor everything to how you want to fight. From skills that allow you to turn enemies into chickens to skills that allow you to drop from the sky and strike you enemy, the combat in this game not only feels great but looks great as well. Honestly if you are still reading this review at this point I hope that you have already added the game to your cart and are buying now. If not then you should be. This game is amazing, just buy the damn thing! 10/10 worth every penny.
