New Update that comes with DLC: Very very good! All the reworks were sorely needed and add a needed level of dynamism beyond just 'Repeal laws in X orders to cancel out Landowner power so you can actually play the game in a style you want.' Discrimination finally having nuance, Racism finally having a gameplay incentive so not every playthrough is alternate universe utopianism, etc all very good!

Pivot of the Empire itself? Absolutely a trash DLC that you should only get if you wanna play the Mughals or EIC and nothing else. Even the Sikh Empire, something they hyped about being so excited about in the dev diaries for how much flavor they pumped into it. Yea it's one journal entry that you basically auto complete by existing (Easy JE's aren't bad especially since difficulty can be patched.) But your reward? Decaying 25% prestige buff on a nation that already hits the highest an unrecognized power can get just by literally upgrading its troops and paying its military wages lol. With the only notable change to their Army Forces so they like multiculturalism, they don't even give unique IG bonuses to the India Rural Folk they just gave them a new name??

Again the only one who got any mechanics even worth noting is basically just the EIC, everyone else in India in the India specific DLC? basically no flavor. Colossus of the South, a DLC which itself also is kinda eh, at least gave everyone the Caudillo mechanic to play with alongside some events that effected the entire region. The most significant changes to India are the free resource changes to the patch, especially given there is no actual incentive to use the caste-mechanic unless you're EIC or LOVE Landowners.

This entire DLC is essentially a tipping service for Paradox, all the new content of the update is amazing! But you're basically paying 10 dollars for four events, three IG bonuses, and some table art. At least for the Great Game in Sphere's of Influence they had the excuse of it being mostly a content not flavor update. This DLC would be worth maybe if India got some actual unique IG effects for people who aren't EIC, a couple more events and Journal entries for people who aren't just the EIC. But as it stands? Buy it when it goes for 2 dollars or if you're willing to pretend that all the new content is apart of the DLC and wanna tip Paradox.

In the short time I've played this game I realized that life really is short. I will never get the minutes the back I played of this, I will never get the time for the time I waited for it to download back and honestly I'll never childlike innocence I had before playing this game. Back before the corruptive forces of the world finally wormed their way into my eternal soul, this game is to video gaming as the antichrist is jesus. It is by far one of the games of all time, 10/10 better than 52 pick up.

Absolute master piece, has everything I wanted and more. Minor bugs and crashes here and there but that's expected with early access especially day 1, I never had much lagging issues and most of my crashes were only on start up a few times.

Otherwise 10/10
