It's like Mario Party minus the minigames and plus WAY more rigged bs because the game hates you and wishes you were dead. If you like games that try to break your friendships, this is a good one. It has no right being as engaging as it is. Play with friends.

The first thing that will come to your mind is Portal, and yes there are many similarities. Mysterious puzzle chambers, silent protagonist, simplistic depressing environment, etc. However, that does not mean this is any less satisfying of a game. I'm pretty sure QUBE is even a bit tougher that Portal. It's immersive, mysterious, challenging fun. If you life puzzle games, this one is definitely one worth trying!

I went into this game knowing pretty much nothing. I had watched the trailer and told my friend it looked cool. He played it after this and told me it was amazing. A year or so later I finally got around to beating it and, spoiler alert, he's right. The first thing you'll notice is how quickly the game tries to immerse you in it's world. The characters are quirky and charming, the music is nice, the animation is gorgeous, and the story never really feels cliched. It always felt unique to me. I suppose I've never played many 2-D hack'n'slashers so I don't really have anything to compare the gameplay to, but the fighting never lost its luster to me. This includes the excellent final boss. If you're looking for a fun, charming, different feeling indie game, then this certainly should be something you pick up in the future.
