I see lots of negative reviews, half of them being "why are they weirdly shaped?" or "hard pass bc it's sd." If you look away from the fact that it's an SD Gundam game, and you are into Gundam, AND you don't mind the pure beat em up style, I'd recommend the game. The game is even better with friends. Something to keep in mind though is that the controls will make you want to play with a controller because it was designed with playing on a console in mind, but it is definitely playable on mouse and keyboard. Be glad Bandai Namco even gave us a Gundam game, and this one in particular is a fine product. Gundam Evolution is cool too, but personally not for me.

I haven't been far yet, but the only real issue I have is the auto lock-on system. I feel it wasn't developed as well as it should have been. It's very... loose, quite literally, and not well focused. You'll lose your target the moment you move closer to them, and the auto lock-on will automatically lock onto another target. This should be something the dev team should prioritize in future maintenance. I'll try and update the review as I get closer to late game or what not.

In conclusion, don't knock it til you try it. Give it a chance and if you don't really like it, then that's alright too.

I usually don't break reading visual novels, but this one broke me... I loved it through and through. This is a true gem.

Such great RPG... there's lots to do in Fable
