I played this game a ton on release, the sounds and the visuals were amazing, but in reality the game lacks a lot of depth, it would have done amazing if they had included a more traditional questing and discovery system for MMO games. There is kind of sort of a main quest that nobody cares about, then there is looping grind in place of side quests.

Also, it isn't a super diverse game. There is the weapons and that is the major customization you are doing for abilities. I would have still preferred a more interesting classing system and more than just humans as a playable race (i understand these are all debatable design choices... Some might like it is all humans... But I don't)

I enjoyed the game, so I'll just say a few things and give it a thumbs up...

Q: is the game what I wanted at launch?
A: NO. My expectation was very high due to my time spent exploring Witcher 3's vast world. But it was still far better than your average game release. It had a lot of depth in the main story line and I enjoyed pretty much every character I met.
Q: Was the side questing bland and dull?
A: Yes and No, honestly there was both, unfortunately they felt the need to pad the game with a LOT of in your face bad quests, because if you find them there are MANY great side gigs to pick up and fun little stories to unravel.
Q: Would I replay it?
A: At this point I have yet to replay the game, I beat the main story, got my bittersweet ending and stopped there. Thats not to say I wont replay it again someday ever now and then I think about my experience as V and consider picking it up for another go with a new build.
Q: Was it REALLY buggy?
A: YES, I found many MINOR bugs during my time playing. Cars not lining with the road, sometimes NPC cars would just not be driving and blocking a highway, sometimes faces would load funny... But none of those bugs are major and I'm sure will be fixed soon if not already.
I DID have two somewhat annoying bugs,
1. Playing as a memory of Johnny when flying on a helicopter to raid a compound, none of the assets loaded and I was forced to reload.
2. After doing a quest line for the Delamain (fun side quest story BTW) My facetime call window bugged and always showed Delamain in the background, Kinda creepy and honestly thought it was a feature based on the context of the quest.

Overall review: 7/10 (this could easily go up as they fix bugs and add content to the game)

BTW: If you are considering picking up the game I would recommend avoiding the heavy sniper build, it was by far too powerful if you know how to click on heads. Pretty much one shot anything that isn't a boss. Its like playing the bow stealth sniper in Skyrim...
