Just to provide context, I have not played RBR but I have spent many hours in the Dirt Rally titles and love them.

This is currently the most fun rally game for me and I enjoy playing many parts of it. Cars feel great on all surfaces, especially 4WD. Asphalt has been vastly improved compared to previous games while dirt and snow maintain that fun experience while being even more punishing than before in some cases. The selection of cars is great and despite RWD cars (my favourite) feeling too snappy and wonky out of the box you can make them behave more normally with some tuning. The selection of rallies and stages is fantastic and I enjoy the new career mode (after the AI bugs were fixed). However I would have liked for the calendar to be somewhat randomly generated. So far it seems to be the same every season which is not great for replayability. That being said I spend most of my time competing in online leaderboards and clubs. It is still as great an experience as ever and the racenet features to compare runs between players and visualize them are simple game-changing.

Now on to the not so great things... There is a very small but CRUCIAL feature missing from online leaderboards and that is the number of participating players. Without a feel for my relative position I lose much of the satisfaction and sense of how well I did compared to the rest of the players. I CANNOT stress that enough, codies PLEASE make it happen. In DR2 you could tell through many indirect ways. Beyond that the game is quite demanding to run on both CPU and GPU and the worst part of this is that the graphics do not justify the the performance. They are simply not pleasant to look at unless you are able to get close to max and even then it is not very impressive. Lighting conditions still need tweaking in some conditions too, with visibility being a struggle. An honorable mention has to be given to the sound effects of the game though, which are simply SUPERB and do a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to maintaining immersion in the game.

My personal opinion is that the weak points of the game are not bad or important enough to make them a deal breaker and soon you will get more or less used to them. After that there is a big awesome rally game to experience and have lot's of fun with. Definitely recommended (but check some benchmarks for your system)

Absolute masterpiece of a game! Oozes quality from every aspect and is just a pure joy to play. Great level design, awesome and challenging combat (if you choose to do so, which is recommended), fun characters and of course... a good track list!

This game well deserves your money even at full price, you will not regret it. In fact, I don't know why this is only 30$. Obviously a lot of work, passion and attention to detail have gone into it.

Disclaimer: some inner rhythm required. May feel overwhelming for the first couple hours but very satisfying when you get going.

Are you a souls fan? If yes, stop wasting time reading reviews and get this ASAP. This new recipe is what you wanted without knowing it, bringing many quality of life improvements and way more content than any souls game before it.

Are you an action RPG fan considering getting into this? The learning curve will be a bit steep by 2022 standards but worth it once you get there. This game has its own philosophy in many aspects (including questlines, story, gameplay and more) and may seem punishing. Don't hesitate to google about any mechanics that don't seem clear though and soon you will get into the rhythm and enjoy 100+ hours of quality content. Don't expect to breeze through every challenge but that's what makes it rewarding in the end.

Best game in the Souls series, only Bloodborne can match it.

If you are a roguelike fan, you cannot miss this. If you aren't, I am kind of sorry for you because no other game of the genre will live up to these standards. Fantastic in any aspect, 10/10

TLDR: Fantastic rally game but SO EXPENSIVE to get all the content

True to the spirit of the original Dirt Rally, which I consider my favorite racing game, Dirt Rally 2.0 delivers another great driving experience with very satisfying physics, a slight improvement in graphics quality and new content. It is everything you would expect (without any surprises either, good or bad).

However, it has to be mentioned that although all the extra content is more than welcome, it can be quite pricey to get. Still I could justify it but most added locations are a comeback from the first game. It's great to have them in one big package but throwing in some completely new locations (such as Scotland, which is great btw) would make ie better.

Still the game is amazing, my favourite in the racing genre, and I always find myself coming back for more.

Early Access Review
A great strategic game with moderate learning curve. Very good for spending some chill time and relaxing. Also really fun to play with a friend due to the Duos game mode.

P.S. Plays fantastically both on PC and mobile phone (Android). The UI and design is on point and very carefully built.

The game is fantastic and the best Trials game to date for NEW players with some amazing high quality tutorials and a learning curve that wont destroy you 3 hours into the game. The reasons everyone is complaining are completely insignificant compared to the pros. There are tons of great quality content to go through + the track central and everything you ever wanted from a trials game. The lootboxes are just cosmetics for the lulz and you get so many of them for free just by playing. Its true that you need to spend some time until you can play some tracks that will give you trouble to pass if you are a returning player like myself but even on medium and easy tracks getting a platinum medal can be really tough and I definitely had fun going through them and trying to get fast times. I am 15 hours into the game as of writing this review and I love it. I strongly believe its underrated.

P.S. the soundtrack rocks
