This game like so many others today; is too difficult for anyone who dose not know a keyboard without having to look at it. It is catering for youngsters who have game machines or a pc to hand all of their lives. There is a huge potential market being ignored .... That being people approaching retirement who watched their kids playing games and thought " I 'm going to do some of that when I get time". Only to find games when set to easy are nigh on impossible for a normal mortal. This game is just purely over complicated, too many keys to use and use in combinations. I imagine this game was made for a controller .

A game that rings bells with the X universe series. Not as tedious as x but also dose not have the depth of story or technical finesse of x.

The game has had my attension for a couple of weeks and is very playable. Plenty of side missions to earn from, with opportunities for the business minded aswell as the military. I am pleased the team enabled mods and a mod manager that has a few good mods in the workshop. The charactor respec facility is especially good as it allows you to mix and match the special skill set.

Only issues I have are :-
1. On transfer of command you get ripped off for all weapon systems and enhancements. You should atleast transfer what you have since you have to buy each individually.

2. Since i'm in charge why the heck can't I just take command of a ship I've had built ?

3. I can't find any form of mouse look to actually look at my fleet around me.

4. Fleet management is rubbish. There should be an overall fleet management page so you can structure your fleets around you into groups and give individual jobs.

over all a good game that can make hours pass very quickly. 8/10
