A beautiful and relaxing puzzle game, with great artwork and soundtrack. A certain recommendation for casual gamers and hard fans of the genre alike, for the concept behind the game mechanics is not only fresh but also nicely handled. More than worth giving it a try. You are guaranteed to find creative puzzle iterations you've never previously seen.

Unheard is a peculiar game, but great in it's sort of own self-defined genre. It really does manage to get you in the shoes of a detective and gets pretty intense and immersive in that aspect. With well designed levels and situations, together with noteworthy voice-overs, you'll certainly find yourself hooked up. Basically, if you like the idea behind the whole proposal, meaning to have to run around listening to conversations in order to crack a case, I think you'll thoroughly enjoy it. That said, it's core concept is also it's biggest flaw: if the idea of an "audio book" with a detective twist does not appeal to you, you'll probably be better off giving it a pass. If in doubt, I recommend giving it a chance, for I think it's pretty well done.

As a last commentary, as others have already emphasized, it's pretty short, with the base game being around 4 hours long. On the bright side, it has some free DLC to extend its life a bit more.

Darq is a little jewel of a puzzle platformer. Though short for some, I would personally say it has just the perfect length for me, both overall and in each of its chapters. The ambience is great and consistent throughout the whole game, with each level still having it's own specific feeling according to the setting. With a gloomy mood and also some jump scares here and there, it solidly delivers the horror adventure it promises.

I would particularly commend the level design, in how they are restrained enough to not be "maze-like confusing" but still stretched to their full potential through the several "space bending" mechanics which constitute the heart of the game. I never felt frustrated or lost, just eager to discover what I may have not seen at first glance.

The addition of 2 free DLC by the developers can only further strengthen my already deep resolve to give this game an absolute recommendation. Those are commendable business practices right there.

You can't really go wrong with Warband. Even after all these years, the game still holds it's ground really well. For starters, the vanilla singleplayer experience is by itself fairly entertaining. Add to that solid base all that the awesome modding community has added and you've got yourself a hidden jewel. To top it all off, there's the multiplayer, which, though withered in numbers since the release of Bannerlord, still keeps its group of solid devotees.

In essence, the game is an open-world medieval age simulator. You start poor and lonely, and can eventually end up going as far as conquering the whole realm for yourself with a 200 strong army at your personal command. What actually happens is strongly up to yourself. You can make friends or enemies, recruit other heroes, establish businesses, protect or raid caravans and villages, enlist in an established faction, endorse a group of rebels or even declare your own kingdom. And of course, there will be lots of fighting. In the fields, in the deserts, in the mountains, in towns and castles. Everywhere. There's really no way to cover it all, and this is just the vanilla game. Not a fan of the medieval setting? You can get some vikings in the mix, move forward to the gunpowder era or maybe get on a trip to Westeros of "A Song of Ice and Fire". I strongly suggest looking at the Workshop for possibilities when assessing the game as a whole and how interested you might be in it.

Talking a bit further about the Warband multiplayer community, others have already praised more extensively the great people who used to populate it, the awesome work they did and how welcoming they were of strangers. Truly an example in my opinion. I shall not repeat it here, besides saying I strongly endorse their words, as a personal applause to a big part of what made Warband so great for me. So cheers to all of them. Fantastic people all the way.

Clearly, my strong personal recommendation is to give Warband a try. I think it's totally worth it, even at full price, but it also often goes on sale for 75% or 80%, so that's an added plus if you don't mind waiting for the opportunity. One way or the other, believe me, you won't regret your purchase.

Never again, in your whole life, will you ever open a door with the same calm demeanor.
