The simplistic graphics hides a depth of environment that is rarely seen in other games. Absolutely 10/10 game

It's like Redwall as an RPG. Not since I've played Undertale has a game made me laugh and cry so hard. Small Saga is a shining example of masterful storytelling and character development. The character design is beautiful and engaging, and you can really feel the author's heart beating at its core.

10/10, marvelous job!

Celeste is a masterpiece with stunning aesthetics, challenge, and a beautiful story that brings it all together. The sound design alone is brilliant and its dynamic cross-fading of channels gives the world a very real feeling.

It's also the first game in a long while that made me feel overwhelmingly hopeful. Play it if you like story, play it if you like challenge. Play it if you are a fan of speedrunning. This is the sort of game that deserves GOTY.

It's fun as a "Holy cow, these controls are wonky" sort of way, but the controls are sluggish enough that it makes playing it difficult.

And they got rid of the tutorial level from the demo they released years ago. It would be a fun game to play if the kinks are worked out, but I can't recommend it now.

Holy crow, I don't know what to say to this. If you want insight to bleak existential horror in half an hour or less, download this game and play it.

It's worth playing as an exploration of the medium, but know you're not in for a fun time.

I played this with my partner over an afternoon, and we enjoyed it. It has a novel story and atmosphere with some of the most beautiful artwork I've seen in a game. The gameplay is nothing to write home about, however, and ambiguous platforms with controls that are not well responsive can lead to frustrating moments. There was clearly an emphasis placed on beautiful animations over good controls.

Taken as a whole, however, it has insights of a culture that I hadn't known much about with artwork to match. I'd recommend it for that alone.

This was a much different experience that I had anticipated, but it was enjoyable. I'd recommend it for people who enjoy unfolding stories more than gameplay.

As many others have said, go into this one knowing as little as possible. This is one of the best games I have ever played, and made me cry like a small child.

This is one of the few games I've completed every single acheivement on. It is a beautifully executed stealth game.

This is a long-time favorite of myself and my friends. Its low bar for entry makes it a fantastic party game even for groups unfamiliar with it, while more advanced techniques makes it good for personal competitions.

The art and sound are great, and the controls are quick and responsive. What else could I ask for?
