With the updates since my original review as well as the sneak peaks coming from 1.0 I would recommend this game to anyone looking for space crew experience. While the roles within a single run are a little more strict the talent trees make you feel like a master in your chosen role. I would still like to see a little more mission variety but the endless mode modifiers keep things interesting. The difficulty is nothing to laugh at either and will have you sweating in smaller groups to keep going.

The game isn't terrible but it is certainly not worth the $70 price tag, if you intend on playing it solo I believe I would look for something a little higher quality as currently this game feels incredibly lacking when im not playing with friends.

The world feels lived in initially and while I had fun exploring the empty and abandoned housed it turned out that almost all my houses were empty and abandoned. Aside from the small spot of cultist or an occasional vampire there was next to no shooting in my looter shooter. We believe that enemies may grow more dense as we reach higher level but to get to that point I would need a game to play and not a walking simulator.

The combat is simple with vampires having 1/4 gimmicks (mostly easily avoidable attacks, strafing makes you near unkillable) and a bunch of cultist with guns (the real threat on the highest difficulty available by default.) I have found a fair variety of weapons but at this point its the lack in variety of enemies is my biggest cause for concern. Each characters individual powers are neat but they do not quite feel as game defining as I would have liked, gameplay feels more tied to the weapons you enjoy vs what your person can do. (I am not max level maybe this will change as we reach much higher levels)

As things currently stand I cannot recommend purchasing this game, I will update this as things change if you could get the game for $30 or less I would recommend it. But right now the quality of the game is pretty low and I would recommend looking towards other choice, there are cheaper games that are higher quality for both single and multiplayer.

It is important to note that I had little to know issues with running or playing the game.

The game has been a ton of fun, of the 7 or so weapons there is only a single weapon type that I do not find appealing, and its fine, its just not great like the other weapons. The monsters are fun, look great, and offer fast paced fights which I enjoyed a lot. You will not get the same variety of Large monsters that you see in Monster Hunter at this point in time. The game for me shows a lot of promise, the systems that are in place I like and I believe they are a lot of fun. The games needs a little more game to build upon which I believe it will get there but it may be a hold until a sale if you worried about the amount of content compared to the Monster Hunter Titles.

Overall - Its a fun twist on a tried and true concept, the game borrowed everything I enjoy about monster hunter and added enough that it creates a unique experience. If the game is within your price point I recommend it.

Warframe is a game that really just tickles my lizard brain to collect ore, or wood, or whatever it is im collecting nowdays. A lot of hate of the recent AOE nerf, but honestly powercreep is a large issue in this game, we are so strong I can clear maps without ever seeing enemies, which depending on what I am doing is exactly what I want.

Gunplay can be fine but is kinda braindead because we have been overwhelmingly strong. Movement in the game is incredible and was the reason I got into the game.
Cool space robo ninjas was a fun concept and still delivers.

If you are seriously considering getting the game, get it. Its a great game if you havent played it I would almost guarantee you will enjoy it if you like shooters and dont mind a grind. We have been nerfed before and we will be nerfed again, because we get a bit to strong, but it opens new ways to play and gives the devs new options in creating challenges.
