Early Access Review
Scammed everyone. Took AAA game cash to make this knowing it was popular and had a large fan base. It came out of the gate with 10% of the features and polish of KSP1 and now the whole dev team got sacked, any future updates are canceled and they have the insanity to think they can keep it up on the steam page with a "Road Map" which has already been confirmed to be canceled.
Should just stick a cheap price tag on it and bring out any update, even if its just a middle finger flashing at you every time you start the game up, and call it 1.0 release. This would stop people being tricked into buying it if they dont know better.

Fun game, loving the exploration mode with its future proof random generating islands.
Negative points are at the bottom of review.
For anyone who wants to know how the exploration actually works, ignoring the lies and people that dont understand it, the world generation now spawns in large areas full of islands and when you sail to the edge of any play map you can pick another area to spawn in to in any biome you choose. Your game saves all the islands that you visit and you can reroll any play map if you are done / dont like the area and if the game updates in future with new stuff. You can reroll ones you dont like and they spawn in with the new stuff.
This is great for building a base and having tons of stuff to explore and your ship is permanant with you, can spawn and despawn it making for a fun mobile base if you want to.

Main thing i would like to see in future is special play maps spawn in with bosses or dungeons you can go into and do with special loot drops or something.

Currently the main issues are that with the random generation, often get alot of islands without much of anything and they can be spread out so you waste alot of time sailing around trying to find whatever you are after.
Secondly the game lacks large amounts of deep content if you are looking for endgame or progression since the main progression currently involved just mining a bunch of stuff and crafting armour / crafting stations and then finding the next material and there isnt many of them, once you have zirconium and copper with coal its pretty much the endgame with materials so then its just building.
Biggest annoyance is friendly fire. Playing with wife and whenever we go into areas we need to have 1 kiting and 1 attacking since if we both attack we end up killing each other. Cant turn this off.

Obviously its a good game and has alot of updates. The current game is very fun, especially with friends and will give plenty of hours of fun.
It has a few issues but with regular updates it will likely improve.
