Multiple aspects of the game are needlessly frustrating. Temperature system requires you to either micromanage gearsets that are scattered arbitrarily throughout a messy inventory unless you wanna tiptoe through new environments with 4 pieces of temperature food that lasts a minute each which isn't fun. On top of that most of the materials are hard as hell to find and requires you to bang your head across every rock in the world just to finally find a silver node that's on top of an unscalable cliff (why can't I get up there, there's things up there) Also the building is a clunk chunk. you have you craft each individual building piece then use a separate tool to place them and then you can only demolish them in big chunks so don't ♥♥♥♥ up or you have to obliterate a quarter of your base. Combat is fun but you only get like 3 minute intervals because you're only allowed to carry like 10 health foods that heal you for 1/100 of your health before you have to stop what you're doing and go back to base and craft more. Also selkie fins don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ exist. I read 12 guides online and sailed in a slow ass ♥♥♥♥♥♥ boat for 2 hours trying to find the super special version of the beach and there just wasn't one.
