I’ve really enjoyed Breachway so far.

• Goes beyond a simple card game by having layers of strategic depth.
  
• The visuals are ppealing, though they might not be for everyone and could use some additional polish, especially in the UI department.
  
• The game's difficulty is still being tuned—sometimes it feels too easy, other times too punishing.
  
• Maybe needs more in-between runs progression, but this depends on the game difficulty settling down
  
• It doesn't remind me of FTL, it stands on it's own

TLDR: Breachway is off to a promising start, and with some more work on it, it has the potential to become a standout.

Beautiful visuals with very heavy combat.
Some things need fine tuning, but so far so good.

This is game is difficult to review.
The moment you start the game you notice that the text declaring the version 0.5.something is on top of the screen. The game had bigger plans than what was released.

However, the game is a masterpiece of art. The gameplay itself is fun at first for 10 something hours, and to complete it you probably need 15 hours.
But it's hard to describe just how beautiful done the game is. This isn't just firewatch in blue. It's much, much better art wise. A real treat.

So if you want a really beautiful game, where you survival depends on collecting from wilderness, this game is for you. If you want replayability from The Long Dark it's not, or it's not yet.
