honestly if you like this time period and can ignore the aspects from Pharaoh and Troy that where horrible then you will like this game and have fun playing it.
I myself am unable to enjoy the game whatsoever. i hate how the map looks, i don't enjoy the UI and i absolutely hate the resource system that they have in this game. I'm fine dealing with food and gold but don't start adding ♥♥♥♥ like copper and lumber. if i want to play a game where i have to micromanage everything ill play Rimworld or Anno.
Overall this game isn't for me and i found i wouldn't enjoy any game set in a similar time period

finally a version that works wonders and is supported. loves this game and im looking forward to all the new content they add, hoping its good of course.

this new DLC... how to put it, interesting in the new god powers and units, unfortunately the campaign kinda sucks. maybe its just me who doesn't understand the way they are trying to dictate the story in a more Chinese fashion (i hope) but it just falls flat with no emotion or anything. overall i wont really be using them outside of the campaign cause i a basic ♥♥♥♥♥ that sticks with the Greeks so the fact the campaign is kinda bad makes this sad.

fun campaigns with good concepts

this may be a gacha game and to get the better characters you do need to spend time and have luck to pull them but that is only part of this game. the gacha aspects of the game are tied to the fool's journey (in game name) and the very few PVP aspects of the game.
As for the second and arguably the bigger half of the game, gacha has nothing to do with it. the spiral of Destinies story is 100% solo and has no gacha mechanic to speak of. this mode is arguably a second full game that could of easily been a stand alone title. this mode has you managing a merc company and doing tactical battles, think of Final Fantasy tactics and Fire Emblem.
the game play is overall great ans a style of game play i missed since the last flop (IMO) that was fire emblem Engage. this game hits all the aspects of a tactical strategy RPG that I've missed with a decent story for as far as I've gotten into the game.

let me preface this, the game is great. its honestly the best 3rd person looter-shooter I've played in ages. From base building to harvesting materials and doing side quests its all great and fun, yes the core game play loop is fairly repetitive and basic but it allows you to actually get in and relax while playing. there are a few server issues due to lag and stuff when encountering other players during events or in safe zones, but hey when was the last time a game released with no issues (from memory its always worse then this)

NOW, the reason for the negative review

This is supposed to basically be a MMO shooter survival game. To me and many others MMOs don't wipe your progress at all, let alone 6 weeks like the devs said they would do. they have stated you would keep your Gear blueprints, cosmetics, mods and some Currencies (not specified which from what i can tell). You can also transfer some materials, medicine and ammo but that's based on some transfer rules that i have not yet see, i'm guessing a cost of some sort tied to in-game currencies. As you could of guessed my reason for the Negative review is the seasonal server wipes (6 weeks). That to me is unacceptable for a game such as this. I and i also suspect many players do not want to lose a good chunk (if not all) the progress they did after 6 weeks. Just to go back and do the same repetitive things over and over again, wipe after wipe after wipe.

As long as server wipes are still a thing in this game I am unwilling and unable to recommend this game to anyone, no matter how much fun it is to play. I'm also most likely not gonna continue playing past this initial launch once the first season is complete and the server wipe is initiated. I really don't wish to start over from basically scratch to do what i already did or something that is very similar to what was done.

PlayStation being PlayStation and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ everything up for everyone. screw linking my PSN account to my steam only for this game. its a scummy move that will kill the game. some players won't be able to make a PSN account due to regional restrictions while most PC users who have any self respect will outright leave the game.

this game looks great and is extremely fun to play. the biggest issue though is that they didn't go the full mile and add more NPCs to interact with and have a whole social system for the NPCs like friendship lvls and even romance.

this is maybe the last true total war game. A game where you actually had fun and didn't have to worry for any DLC spam to get a complete game. A game that to this day is easily one of the most played and enjoyed Total war games ever released. form playing hundreds of hours when i was younger before steam was even a thing. its still and will (at the rate CA is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up) probably be one of the few last great games of the franchise.
