Conscript is truly an impressive game. The game's setting is absolutely perfect for this genre and I must say is one of the more interesting explorations of World War 1 in a game. The "Horror" aspect of the game is far from the traditional sense of a horror game, and is much closer to an experience of the horrors of the First World War, yet I feel this has made the experience of this game that much more noteworthy. The atmosphere in this game is perfect and the creator of Conscript has done a really good job of making it a claustrophobic and tense experience for the player.

I have to admit, the combat can be a bit clunky at times (sometimes its hard to tell whether a wall offers cover or not or what is in line of sight of your range weapons), but I am sure tweaks will be made to reduce this.

All in all, this game has been quite a unique and interesting experience so far and is definitely worth its price tag. If you are a fan of survival games, or WW1 games in general, Conscript is definitely worth a play
