It won't even open for me. I understand that the port fixed some things, but there are people out there still whose game won't even get to the title screen before it crashes! I just really wanna play this game. Why won't it work??

This is one of the greatest roguelikes ever made. I've gotten endless hours of fun out of this, and I'm nowhere near done. It's about as polished as you can ask a game with so many items with so many syngergistic effects to be; additionally, I think part of the fun comes from finding run-breaking exploits that let you destroy every boss. Would absolutely recommend. It's also finished development, so there's a finished storyline and no loose ends. There's so many secrets to find and skills to learn. Incredible game.
