No secret to some of my friends that this is my favorite trilogy to date. The Legendary Edition makes it so that others may enjoy it in a fresh new light. With all the DLCs and games this is a very easy buy for someone looking to get into the series.

I don't even want to go into the emotions that are conveyed in this game. The story is so rich and truely all of your choices matter. Each decision has an impact later in the game and the characters are well written. The game breaks all kinds of preconceptions that you may have about gaming in general and just takes it all to the next level. Don't take this game for granted, it may be a 16-bit graphics game with an amazing soundtrack but it really pounds home that you, the player, are in charge for your choices. This game does twenty times better at impacting the player than many other 1080p games that come out today. Easily worth the ten dollars. But before you start up the game it's important that you don't look up a playthrough or walkthrough. Make all the choices as you normally would in your first run through to get the most out of your experience. If you know what's coming it's too easy for you to prepare for it and not be suprised. Take it from me, let the game suprise you, it's a hell of a lot better that way.

Planetside 2, A stunningly new MMO FPS centers it's attention around three main factions. All of them fighting over one planet and on that planet four continents. Players choose their faction and get dropped into the most brutal battles of all FPS games. Often times in most main frontier battles there are upwards of 100 or more players on each side fighting over just one facility. The environment in which you're fighting depends on the continent you're on. You will sometimes be in a murky swamp, or even in a barren field of a desert. Planetside focuses on being free to play which it entirely is. At times you may feel like you're heavily out gunned or numbered but that's only part of the game. Be forewarned however as in order to get the most out of this game you have to put a lot of your own time to get your classes and guns to where you want them to be. If ground combat isn't your thing you can easily go into dogfighting or jump into a tank and form a column. You never just have one option to you at one given time. You can chose to go into the giant battles and assist as a medic or maybe pick off the enemy as an infiltrator. Maybe you'll drop down in an air vehicle as an engineer in a small unpopulated area to repair the bases defenses. Most of all you're never alone. It may seem like you are, but you're never alone. There are always others with the same idea as you and will be doing the same thing, so try to squad up and get the most out of planning your attacks. Overall Planetside 2 is a game to beat. With its many choices and ways to kill, you can play for hours and still be entertained.
