Ahh, LOTRO, I keep coming home to this game after so many years as it is just a **good** game. Does it have the shiniest graphics? No. But with shaders you can really polish the game up and the story, music, and vast world to explore makes up for not being the "spectacle" that many modern games have traded the former for.

I enjoy this game thoroughly, yeah, the game is basically dead, but I have friends that I play with, we can max out the server pop and have people waiting. It really is a fun game but it could do with some QOL that likely will never be due to the game, essentially being abandoned. Its a great party game with friends and a blast to spend a couple hours on the weekend spiking each other with shotguns and air cannons. Definite recommend, and in my heart of hearts I would love to see this game live again.

I pre-purchased this and have been thoroughly enjoying it with friends. If you don't like the l4d type gameplay style it isn't for you. People crying about reusing enemies too much and repetitive missions don't seem to understand the kind of game they are playing, it was exactly the same in Vermintide I&II. I am missing some of the features of Vermintide II but I suspect they will bring those to Darktide II.

Now for me, the game is gorgeous, it captures the warhammer aesthetic very well. Customizable characters was pretty neat and a nice bit of personalization. The music, while not as good as Mechanicus' soundtrack was also well done and fits the tone of the game.

Tldr, game is fun with friends, and you can write off what people with Walmart PCs have to say about the game.

I pre-ordered this game, so much do I love the Deus Ex franchise, There was a lot of hate slung at the game for things like microtransactions and various other nitpicks people had that really weren't relevant. Frankly, this game was screwed by squenix and nothing makes me happier than hearing that it was sold to a company that will respect the IP.

It doesnt have the exact same aesthetic of the first game, and I dont just mean graphically, it feels more futuristic than cyberpunk, gone is a lot of the contrast between the golden metropolis of Detroit, and the dingy squalor of its slums. Prague is an alright setting all in all, and the game is still quite compelling comparative to other sequels of other franchises. I do miss some of the friends and faces from Human Revolution, but some of the new players have grown on me. Looking forwards to the third installment.

Early Access Review
To begin, like many games in ALPHA 7d2d is a bit on the clunky side, zombies do some janky things and the controls for some vehicles are the same. Some of the hitboxes are entirely out of wack and sometimes a zombie can just eat a rifle shot to the forehead and take no damage(This has only happened to me once in my time playing thus far).

With that being said 7d2d is a wonderful experience to have with friends, it can be intense alone but ultimately gets a little stale when playing solo, with friends or on public servers however, there's a great deal of fun to be had.

Bought this a long time ago when it was first released, it is a game best played with friends but is still a blast on your own, if you have programmable lights on your computer tower or laptop, you are in for a surprise!
