If you loved Reach 9 years ago, you'll find a new appreciation for it now. 343 has done an admirable job making sure this game shines on PC, and while there may be some post launch kinks to work out it's a no brainer for those of us that are ostracized from the Halo franchise on the PC.

Verdun is a niche game, but I think you already know that. It scratches that WWI ich. It's got great attention to detail, guns, uniforms, and the visceral chaos of WWI. The gun play is good, and it doesn't feel clunky. I wouldn't compare it to the Red Orchestra series directly but it's in that ballpark. Now for the bad, this game was made on the unity engine, and as you'd expect it has poor optimization, bugs, and even bad audio quality. The more I play it the more I love it, but the more the simple shoddiness of the games coding becomes evident. I'm hoping the devs can fix these issues, but they're a very glaring flaw one that'd almost make me not reccomend it. So be aware of these issues.
