I am typically not the type to leave a review for games, that being said I can wholeheartedly encourage you to pick up Palworld if it interests you in the slightest. In my opinion it is like if Ark: Survival Evolved and Pokemon had a child with only the best parts and then constantly added their own original ideas and style. It is less "Pokemon with guns" and much more base building action/adventure game, where you can use Pals as tools/weapons/mounts/ and even automation. The multiplayer makes the game that much more fun as you can enjoy your co-op shenanigans and the Devs seem to truly love their game and its community, and let me tell you, it shows. The only genuine critique I can think to have is just me personally wishing there were more content in the game, or the updates were coming out faster, That being said neither of these are realistic critiques in my opinion because the game actually has quite a bit of content, especially considering it to still be in early access, and even though I would like more updates more frequently, it is most certainly not worth the potential drop in quality. All in all I think this is one of my favorite games to come out in recent memory, and am very much looking forward to seeing how the game evolves into and through full release. I hope that Nintendo either drops or loses the lawsuit, we would be losing a game that is more enjoyable than any Pokemon game I have ever seen, and saying Palworld is the same as Pokemon is like comparing Euro Truck Simulator to Mario Kart because you drive in both.

Disclaimer: Been hyped for this release

The gameplay and story are extremely enjoyable, along with having a diverse set of systems to allow for a truly unique experience as you play the game. That being said in its current state it has many bugs that will inconvenience you, break immersion, or even completely prevent you from doing things until you reload. All in all I feel it is a really good game but if you are even slightly on the fence, wait for a bit for the bugs to be ironed out

I have played this game off and on for years, with or without mods, and I will say it is one of my personal favorite games to play, especially if you have friends to play with. The fact that you can host through steam is a major plus with this game
