I would never recommend to my friends a game that you have to buy over twice the games worth in DLC to be enjoyable to play. I would, however, recommend it to an enemy i want to financially ruin

Conquest is the key word in this DLC as you'll be mostly conquering rather than colonizing with this enabled. Prepare for native blobbing that the great blue blob itself would be proud of as natives take over their New World.

Were you like me and thought that the migration mechanic, having native and siberian tribes move from city to city, was cool and allowed for new randomization each time you explored the New World? Did you think native federations were cool as well and important for the iroquois now that they been broken up into their constituent tribes?

Well Paradox recently thought what if we added new broken mechanics to this DLC since we made all the non unique parts a part of the base game. That native tribes should have tribal lands that they owned but didnt own, that they could colonize for free and instantaneously, and could be conquered by kingdoms both native and foreign bringing the blobbing to previously unknown heights would be cool.

Its not. Dont be like Paradox.

Forced to either keep this DLC enabled and deal with tribal lands and their stupidity or disable it and lose migration and tribal federations is a choice i never wanted to make. If they ever fix this (its been a year like this btw so probably not) i might return but at this point in time ill probably wash my hands of EU4 after my current campaign

Spent so much time in Civ 5 that its hard not to feel disappointed in this, even years and many dlc later it all just feels to fall short of previous civ games. Excluding the EULA spyware fiasco, i still wouldnt recommend this to friends as the stability in general is poor and customer service is poor as well. Good luck playing a game on a large map with friends or playing any map on a mac ha ha. Wont buy a Civ 7 at launch thats for sure

After 900+ hours im throwing in the towel on this game. If it werent for mods i never would have gotten even a third of that time. But now mods that havent been updated since June that were working fine last week have "disappeared" even though a look into the directory does in fact find them there. No matter if subscribing unsubscribing reinstalling or validating files works and ive seen others in the forums with the same problem. I know you dont care Paradox but i dont need your new species packs if i wanted that i could go to the workshop, i dont need your new shipsets i could just go to the workshop for that too, and if i wanted new civics yet again i could just go to the workshop. Im ashamed i stuck around from launch and bought your dlc after all the massacres youve done to my boy. Would not recommend a Paradox game to a friend in a million years but i would to an enemy i wanted to financially ruin

Ive been playing Civilization since the begining and i got to say that 5 is my favorite. It wasnt at first but after the GK & BNW dlc the game has really developed into a unique empire builder. So if you got money to throw down on the Original version plus the dlcs get it.
