I have a bachelor's and master's degree in Classics, specifically Ancient Roman history. Nothing will teach you ancient geography better than this game. I literally came up with my master's thesis at 3AM while playing this game several years ago. Not only that, but it fully inspired a second project that I have completed during my PhD. There is enormous educational value in this game - and it's just a great time.
