Big fat recommend from me. Whether you like Metroidvanias or not.
This game is astonishingly atmospheric and a nice journey.
The difficulty is manageable for newbies to the genre and you got plenty of options to adjust your build to prevail ultimately.
Short lived for sure, but damn me it doesn't overstay it's welcome. In fact I would have liked more of it.

The music is my first hook in here and the aesthetics are also something note worthy.

Don't set your gamma on highest though. Let the it be as dark and moody as it needs to be. Tried 0 and it was far too dark in some areas. So try to hit a sweet spot, where you can make out platforms comfortably!

Little gem of a game with super adorable main character and subtle story elements used as tools to explain old game mechanics.

I never forget the SNOY ♥♥♥♥ they pulled. People getting screwed almost globally and unfun changes to balancing are huge issues. Take my negative vote SNOY and Arrow Head.

This is a game that took me by surprise. Upon a simple recommendation and lookin it up i decided to give it a try. My scepticism towards this game was unjustified.
DRG has the potential to make you play it just as much, if not more, than MonHun.

The grind is fun as you build up your character, the humor is simple but makes you crack a smile, and playing it with friends in a group of 4 is where this game shines like a diamond.

You can play this game solo. Depending on your personal skill level in fps games you have no trouble at all adjusting to it, or facerolling the game in a solo session if you wish to.

Sound design is very neat, the music is really good, mining has a few minor issues but nothing game breaking. The Gunplay feels awesome and you can feel how heavy your weapons are.
Soundtrack and design are really well implemented in the game, and the're threats everywhere which even the most skilled fps nerds have to respect to some degree.

After playing for a little while this game really grew on me and if anybody were to ask me for a recommendation between a AAA game, or DRG, my answer will be a simple DRG.

Get it on sale, or do it now. You'll get the most bang for your buck in both cases, and in mine i got the DLC extra on top because i bought in on sale. Put your money where your mouth is and invest in a good product.

0 regrets, solid 8/10 Game, very solid foundation, one of the best surprises in a long time and i do recommend.

Adding malware after release on a good game and after the fact it earned good will from the customers is straight out the book of bait and switch.

The best middle finger i ever got from a AAA game and thanks to that i will never pre order nor buy a game on launch.
Everbody who still supports games, publisher, or companies alike deserve the industry they help to create. Moving the goalpost by taking two steps forward and moving one back isn't actually a thing i'm looking forward to.
My money has value and prior to the Denuvo (Malware) BS i had a blast with the game. Now it is nigh unplayable and i am not a fan of malware.
With all being said, i try to claim a refund even if i am aware that i have more played hours making a refund claim ineligible. However by european law if a product gets screwed by the publisher after the fact i am on legitimate ground to ask for a refund. All review bomber and customer who're also pissed and feel betrayed should do so as well. A message has to be send and every publisher who pulls that ♥♥♥♥ needs to feel the backlash.
