It's not Free to play at all, you can't buy anything and only hunt one deer unless you pay for the monthly sub. Skip if you don't want to sub.

Amazing game. Can spend hours and hours with multiple playthroughs of a very accurate alternate history of Earth. Amazing lore and gamplay. Buy it. 10/10
