Black Mesa Source is truly a faithful remake of the original Half Life. I do like the updated visuals, sounds, and the addition of the sprint feature from HL2. However, some of the character animations do look a bit stiff, and the head bobbing when strafing makes me get motion sickness after playing for an hour, though there is an option to turn off the head bobbing.

If you want to relive the nostalgic glory days of Half Life with updated visuals, this is it.

After 1 and a half years of waiting for the PC release, it's finally here! And is it worth it? Yes it is!

GTA 5 runs very smoothly at around 60 frames per second, the world looks a lot beautiful, and the textures don't look that muddy compared to console versions. Rockstar definitely put a lot of time and effort into optimizing this game for PC, despite preloading and unpacking the game on day 1 of release. I'd say this was the right decision to delay the game, and further again.

However, the game still uses the Rockstar Social Club DRM, which is still frustrating to sign in(since I forgot the password for the service), but at least it's way better than the abhorred Games for Windows Live (which was used in GTA IV) right?

Overall, this game is definitely worth checking out in a new perspective. Also, having played GTA Online before on consoles, ALL the DLC (so far) is FREE! So how can you hate on that?

Possibly the most realistically scary game. You evolve a pathogen that infects and later kills humanity, as the goal of the game is to make humans extinct. Lots of variety of pathogen to choose from. You can be a bacteria, virus, a parasite, etc. Oh did I mention there's zombies in here?

If you played the mobile app version, this is basically a paid upgrade to that. So I'd say get this game while it's cheap.

Also, I hate Greenland. Play this game and you'll see why.

You get to grill pork while wearing a chef hat.

Wanna play like Rambo? Then this is for you. But sadly there's no M60 machine gun, but that's just me.

It's basically an smg pack with Hotline Miami thrown in it. The Tec 9 is the best one so far.

You want free weapon mods instead of xp by collecting packages? Then get this dlc.

Great pack to buy if you want a short term solution on taking down Bulldozers.

It's alright I guess. The rifle is pretty good, and you get to play as a Slav. But some of his lines are missing (as of 3/2015 when I started this review).

And it's also a bit of a bait and switch . In the second screenshot, those glasses are not available in the game.

-Digital Special Edition review-

It has the things that made the first Hotline Miami great:
+Soundtrack is the best .
+The gameplay is fast-paced and difficult.
+The characters have unique abilities that change the way you play.
+The animation has improved for the most part (a rolling head when you decapitated a thug).

The bad part?
-Some few minor bugs and few levels are too big and open.
-Sometimes have random difficulty spikes instead of the game being gradually more difficult as you progress.
-Story is a bit slow-paced.


Well worth buying the special digital edition to play as Jacket in Payday 2.
