My profile is wrong, because I have bought this game on Android, Steam, my alternate Steam account and GoG -not to mention the four-pack I bought to be able to push it on friends.
Having played the GoG version of it most of the time, the total playtime would be at least triple what Steam shows.

Simply because no game does better than Terraria what Terraria tries to do.

Terraria is what it is, a proper masterpiece.

Amazing atmospheric game.

Amazing game. Nothing to dislike, this is perfectly executed.
Here's to hoping a next version might have multiplayer.

Simple enough to get into, plenty of skills and mechanics to master.
Awesome in multiplayer, and easy for even total gaming noobs to try out.

When the girlfriend and myself were looking for cool games to play together, this quickly became one of our favourites next to Spelunky -which imho is very high praise.

Definitely worth the money, even at full price, especially considering you can now invite other players without their own copy.

Game tags still include splitscreen co-op, in the store as well as in the library.

They acknowledged this was an error in Februari 2015

So, this game had a terrible launch, and I was MAJORLY bummed out after making the mistake to buy it on launch day.
Refunding was not an option, because i'd spent 2+ hours in the menus, trying to get the damn thing to load, and then yeah... I'd try playing it but got bored after 6-8h, as there was not really anything to do... So uninstall, bitter aftertaste, al that crap.

Early 2018; I try again, I'd paid 60 full EUR for the software after all, wanna get my moneys worth, bored after 10h according to my save.

Now, just after the big v2.0 release, and I've already logged 70+ hours in it.

Everything went wrong at release, the PR, the deal with Sony and rushing to get it out, their silence after said release... Such a disappointment.
But they kept on building on it, adding features that were sorely missing and, lo and behold!
This game has become slightly amazing and a joy to get lost in.

Big respect to the devs, for soldiering on in the face of community backlash (and we gamers can be quite harsh there)
This game is now definitely worth paying for. Even if 60 EUR is a lot... I feel I got my value out of it and will get more yet.

Edit March 2022: Review above written at 90.9 hours playtime.
Editing review at 179 hours. Bought another copy for the ladyfriend to play together, even if MP isn't all that special, sharing our oohs and aahs is proving to be thoroughly enjoyable.

Eve Online Player happily jumping on the bandwagon, just for the meemz.

Big Budget AAA game that isn't able to deal with custom keybindings on a keyboard.

Remap keys, make sure no bindings are used for two functions at the same time, and the game will still insist on using both your custom command and the default one, not overwriting but adding a function.
Eg. remapping movement to ESDF means that holding F will move you right (my custom keybind) and use the detonator (default) at the same time.

Bought the game, waited for patch that just wouldn't come and should have gotten a refund instead of being patient in vain.
Too bad, I enjoyed JC2 to bits (on M+KB) and this game just screams more n better of everything, looking like a perfect scratch for a broad range of itches.

No excuses, maybe the actual game is bonkers, but the release deserves the downvote.
