I'm gonna be honest here the trailer and the hype sold me this game.

Starting first with the pros(IMHO):
- It has great modding potential(Rimworld style);
- The game looks polished in a manner of speaking although some buildings look like there were being made by some roboAI dude not by some planet crashed dudes with different skills;
- The discovery system is a new and cool addition, kinda reminds me of no man's sky;
- Weather effects are nice and immersive;
- The social system is nice too with interaction between the characters;
- The research part where any discovery you make on the map leads to some research.

Enough with the good part let's get to the bad part and boy we have a lot:
- The most important thing: This is a rip off Rimworld no doubt. I mean ok rip off the game but damn it do it 100%, this one looks to be like a 20% rip off in terms of gameplay and immersive atmosphere;
- Character selection is bad, no way to edit them or the skills;
- Hunting is ok till some big ass animal turns into chunk of meat and leather ... what about bones, maybe specific parts of the animal that can be used for crafting, anyway...
- Crafting ... too easy too few items to craft with;
- Combat is meh. Feels like they had to touch this part to keep it from being too city building oriented. Feels like 4 ppl are too few to make a difference and you have to rely heavily on fortification and turrets and the game kinda rushes you towards that research too.
- Too few clothes and weapons. No shields no swords no passing through the gun powder era. You go from stick and stones/scrap to protos tech.

Overall I'd give it a 4/10. Sorry for the devs Rimworld and Factorio just set the bar too damn high for new additions. Although there is hope in the form of mods, to accelerate the development of story and game progression. Feels like they(devs) haven't yet decided if they want to focus on character interaction or on city building side of the game.
