EDIT:
With the latest update the devs have decided to begin on the same road of mistakes Helldivers 2 & Diablo 4 did, aka an update of pure nerfs.

Despite multiple PvE games losing players to dumb decisions like this, they decided the game wasnt' 'hard enough' despite adding a new highest difficulty that would have solved that on its own. There was no need to nerf our armour, parries & ammo, it makes the game less fun.

Based on their next update I could see myself recommending this again, IF they don't continue with these mistakes.

Pros:
- Co-op operations mode.
- Art direction & representation of the 40K universe.
- Parry system & combat animations (especially executions).
- Promising roadmap for future content.
- Campaign storyline.

Cons:
- Latest update significantly weakening us across the board, ESPECIALLY for melee classes.
- Unbalanced Class system for PvE, latest update making half the classes much worse than others, same for most bolt weapons being unusable.
- Removal of ability to gain health on execution (mostly an issue for single player campaign).
- Limited ways to regain sustained damage after fights (medkits which are uncommon).
- Campaign difficulty above normal poorly balanced, AI companions are useless & you are made weaker (less armor). Due to inability to easily heal, dying after reaching a checkpoint becomes better than fighting 1st.
- Limited number of Co-op operation maps.

A buggier, less refined and poorly balanced sequel.
Just play SoaSE 1 until this improves & more content is added.

Major Order Complete: Sony Forces Repelled from Super Earth.

New Major Order Issued: FIX THE DAMN GAME.

I'd change this to recommend if the game wasn't still so damn buggy.
A list of issues that have been around for ages with no fix:

- Randomly a mission you are hosting will not be capable of receiving new players to join, despite throwing down an SOS beacon.

- Dead entity bodies of large enemies will kill you for climbing on them well after they have died.

- Random game crashes, even when trying to just exit the game.

- The Spear weapon lock-on doesn't work (been in the game since release). Despite acknowledging it as broken AH nerf the alternative weapon, and push the fix out because they don't know how to fix it code-wise.

Other than bugs, the balance team are easily the worst part of the game's direction.
Instead of focusing on making things better and more viable, they instead nerf the weapons that are good & fun to be as bad as the others that aren't used.

I'd have more good faith for this if it weren't for the dev who went around blasting players in forums for daring to question how out of touch the balance team are with the amount of elite enemies vs our ability to deal with them. It spoke a lot to how that team views our feedback.

This game could go back to being amazing, but the balance team need to be 'reworked'.

Give us something to stop dying to our own fire effects in under a second (maybe an armour passive for that, instead of the same 3 that you are cycling through on repeat).

Make the weapons pool be viable & good across the board, not all be mediocre and bad.
It's PvE, the weapons don't need to be perfectly below a fixed line of power.

And please, stop pumping out crap warbonds instead of working on a bug fix patch.

Map design is a far-cry from the previous games, leaving you unable to enjoy funnelling enemies on a large portion of them.
Story is also pretty damn forgettable, as are the new characters.

One of the best 40K games out there.
If you like games like XCOM or 40K Mechanicus you'll love this.

Played many hours of this on the WOTC client, downloaded it on steam to review it.

AVOID THIS GAME IF YOU LIKE MTG.
Arena teaches you to hate Magic.

Cons:
* Predatory premium currency pricing
* 'Hand smoothing' algorithm that exists to limit your wins with bad hands
* No way to play Commander
* Exploitable turn timers allowing for stalling and looping
* No way to dust cards you don't need
* A friends system that doesn't let you play each other
* Endless bugs and crashes
* Limited card pool selection
* Very hard to be F2P

Pros:
* It contains some traces of MTG

Way overpriced for what is included, really most of this DLC should have been in the base game.
It feels like buying a patch.
