Gorgeous game, phenomenal environmental storytelling, and super charming writing / style. The exploration of the story and the world is such a joy to experience. Very compelling plot and mystery. Continuous curiosity and intrigue and fun.

Fantastic successor to the first game. Fun, challenging, and enticing gameplay. Characters are all different in meaningful ways, with unique mechanical identities and feels and lending themselves to a handful of different playstyles each. Items are fun and very interesting with plenty of strategic value and combinations, and occasionally very cool drawbacks! The Artifacts introduce a whole plethora of unique changes to the normal flow of the game; actual changes, not stuff you never care about and never want to touch. Lore and personality is deftly woven in throughout the game and the logbook. Visual style is a beautiful departure from 2D origins but retains all of the funky charm.

Plus the soundtrack *slaps*. Chris Christodoulou always delivers. I'll be playing this game for a long time and I cannot wait for more content to be added.

Absolutely stunning game. The visuals are gorgeous, the themes are worked beautifully, and the world takes a very relatable, yet very scientifically fantastical, near-solid form throughout gameplay. Combat can be a touch clunky, but there are countless opportunities to change your skillsets, and you're rewarded for doing so. the depth of the world is delivered by unlocking information on the people who live there, including the people you play as. Beyond anything, the characters and the story drive this game to a place in the middle of your heart. No flat characters, and everyone has a side to tell. Side-effects include feverish daydreams of this amazing world.

Early Access Review
Really cute and has a LOT of potential (that it's definitely going to live up to). Obviously best with multiplayer, and hopefully they make partying up a little less cumbersome, but very fun and FILLED with cool and interesting things. Like the legendary hammer made out of bones that smashed blocks and shot poison that i found on my first world. And there are thousands of worlds. You have no idea what you're going to find, and you could pick any of them.

It's a bit more complex than Terraria or Minecraft, but is absolutely a wonderful rogue game and if you were a fan of Terraria you will definitely be a fan of this game.
The only downside I can think of is that your ship is the only permanent home you get. You have the OPTION of making a really sweet house on a planet... but the nature of the game is to always leave and find new planets.
Very much recommend it, especially if you have a couple buddies who will play with you.
