Nexomon: Extinction feels like a lackluster attempt at recreating the Pokémon formula. While it does deliver a monster-collecting experience, it struggles to stand out. Compared to similar titles like Coromon, Nexomon falls short in almost every aspect—except for puzzles, which it notably lacks. Ironically, this absence is its only advantage over Coromon.

The most underwhelming part of the game is its art style, with monsters that fail to leave a lasting impression. Furthermore, the decision to balance the stats of rare and common monsters diminishes the thrill of finding rare ones. While this design choice might aim to encourage players to pick favorites based on personal preference rather than efficiency, it ultimately feels unfulfilling.

If you're looking for a great monster-collecting experience, I’d recommend Coromon or Monster Sanctuary over this title. Nexomon: Extinction isn't necessarily bad, but it doesn't feel like a must-play.

Coromon does a lot right, even surpassing Pokémon in many ways—until it hits one snag: the Mescher realm. While the fuse-finding puzzle feels fair and engaging, the others rely heavily on trial and error rather than logic or challenge.
Personally, I’m too old to find enjoyment in those kinds of puzzles.
Consider yourself warned!

Kingdom Two Crowns is a surprisingly relaxing yet challenging game—a combination that feels unique.
The gameplay is simple, requiring only 1-2 buttons aside from movement controls. However, there are many hidden mechanics that you'll need to discover on your own or learn through trial and error.

Completing a single playthrough can take anywhere from 5 to 10 hours, or even more on your first attempt, which feels quite long for a strategy game. That might be the only downside I can think of.
Despite this, it's a simple yet very enjoyable game that's definitely worth a try.
