Play this game!
Super awesome game!

Build your own custom robot, piece by piece, strut by strut- or download one someone else designed!
Various weapons to chose from, level them up for more damage.
Free to play, paying only increases advancement- but with daily quests playing free is not super slow.
Join a clan to earn more rewards.
Plenty of players any time day or night.
Lag free.

Seen a lot of negative reviews comparing this game to fond memories or older versions. Personally if your comparing to older versions you are not really reviewing this game in its current state, me thinks. Though thinking is hard. This game stands on its own and is lots of fun.

Aesthetically pleasing would be the one genuine compliment I have for New Dawn. It’s just so vibrant and colorful, almost everywhere you look is just visual eye candy. The rest, however, is 50/50 and if I could I’d give the game a neutral rating but since I can’t I’ll give it a VERY cautious thumbs up.

The story is lackluster, shallow and plays out like a DLC rather than a standalone sequel. I found myself caring less about most if not all of the good guys. Many tend to go on long unfunny tangents, and you’re going to get the joke, but the joke just isn’t funny. Unfortunately, the writers thought they were hilarious, and you’ll have to endure this with many of the side quests. Mickey and Lou, however, were entertaining, and their cutscenes were the only real saving grace to the story. Hell, I was rooting for them and if given the option would’ve immediately sided with the bad guys. It’s a shame, because I believe if they had put the effort into doing a fully fleshed out story revolving around the twins it would’ve been great. Instead, what we’re left with is two random villains who have no relation to the FC5 events, and anything relating to FC5 could’ve been squeeze in or popped into a small DLC.

The selling point is online co-op, however, even that feels half-assed. There are multiple missions where you will need to escort an NPC in a vehicle, however, these vehicles are only designed for two people, which leaves your co-op buddy scrambling to find a ride to try and keep up because otherwise, the mission will fail for them “abandoning the objective.” Another thing is progress, it only counts for the host which also means no Uplay achievements that are story related for your pal. Now we didn’t care about the achievements but progress being tied to the host only is pretty stupid. Also, this is just a nitpick, but photo mode should work in co-op as well, just sayin’!

I thought the outposts and grinding for all the outfits weas the best part of the game. It’s very rewarding, and it was nice to be able to approach it in whatever way we wanted. Expeditions weren’t half bad either, though that got stale a lot quicker than the outposts did. The gameplay itself is solid enough, bugs aside. When you’re going in loud it feels like old COD when you’re opting for stealth it works out smoothly and it can feel rewarding the first few times you do it successfully. I was pleasantly surprised taking out alarms with a silencer didn’t alert everyone in the area.

The setting itself and the world is another plus, I honestly love it. The idea of the world being destroyed then coming back so vibrant and beautiful is a refreshing take on the post-apocalyptic concept, I adore it. Coming from a Fallout fan, I almost wish more games took that route. Even the monstrous animals were amazing in my eyes. I just wish the story had been up to par.

Finally, be warned. Like most Ubisoft games, it’s buggy. Now, most bugs I can pass on, like the enemy AI reinforcements at outposts just standing still in the desert leaving their friends to die as they suddenly have a midlife crisis. But bugs that get me killed repeatedly or require me to restart the whole game? It’s just annoying. Twice after a loading screen, I got stuck in place and couldn’t move. The first time there was nothing around, I was just standing in place, trapped by open-air around me. The second time I spawned in a small ass tree, that a car can destroy but a gun can’t. Sometimes your character won’t vault through windows, other times they won’t climb up or down the ladder. Had to reload one part at least 4 times because of an infinite loading screen, and then once again getting stuck in place. NPCS love running directly in front of your car btw, thus forcing you to hit them and aggro-ing everyone in the area. Also, why the hell can we heal at full health? The amount of medkits I’ve wasted by accidentally hitting the button and my character deciding to pop some pills is ridiculous.

I don’t believe the game was god awful, but I don’t believe it’s amazing either. I enjoyed it because of my coop partner and the story missions involving the twins, but otherwise, I would’ve refunded a long time ago. So, take that as you will. New Dawn is pretty as hell, but lackluster, shallow, and pretty pitiful for a sequel. My advice? Grab a friend you trust and who’s funny, don’t take it seriously, buy it 50% or lower, and enjoy the ride.

Honestly, if you are on this store page and wondering how good Titanfall 2 is in it's current state it is very shaky in the multiplayer department due to ddos attacks and things outside of the game's control that can make it unplayable in certain regions where the servers are located. (this aspect only applies to the multiplayer in 2021) That being said the Multiplayer mechanics wise is near flawless and is super satisfying to play with a variety of titan chassis and weapons to use as a pilot and a titan. The controls feel incredible as a pilot and a titan each having a distinct play style. The campaign is also incredibly engaging and fun, with a memorable plot and characters that, despite being short can definitely leave an impact. The campaign also boasts beautiful level design that highlights the best aspects of titan and pilot game play. This game also has very beautiful art direction for having been made in the source engine in 2016. The visuals hold up amazingly. The only real thing that can leave more to be desired is the music, not that it's bad or anything but there is barely any reason to listen to it anywhere outside the game. it has a purpose to serve and it does it well. In conclusion this game is 100% worth your time and money as it has plenty to master and look at. It's an amazing multiplayer paired with a lovingly crafted campaign. 9.5/10

Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath.

What a game, really. I've loved the CNC and Red Alert series since RA1, what a classic. But this is, sadly, the best, most recent game out of both series (in my opinion).

I haven't played much of the single player, because WHY? The skirmishes are so fun, there are many different strategies to try out, try different challenges like vs one easy AI and two Hard, capture the easy base early game with minimal resources, e.g. engineer and a few troops, get their tech, have yourself TWO ultimate units, MARV and REDEEMER for example. The unit ranking system is basic but great, very rewarding for looking after your units and keeping them alive through battle trades.

The graphics are great for its age, someone else mentioned about the sound design and yes, I agree, it's awesome. Explosions sound big, siege weapons sound like siege weapons, and units have some great dialogue which you'll catch yourself saying.

Mammoth Tank - "Armoured superiority" "Ready here"

Nod Harvester - "It's time for harvest" "The beautiful glow"

There is still a community out there for multiplayer matches, another reviewer mentioned about the symmetry of the maps, but it's not ALL maps, it's mostly the "tournament maps" which is for... Tournaments. The symmetry is for balance.

However, I do have a gripe for it, and it frustrates me a lot. With so much multiplayer and skirmish potential, I would have loved to have seen more community maps, challenges, missions. But there is almost none through steam. This game is probably past its time to have a big revival, but if you can grab it on a steam sale, I wouldn't hesitate a second.

EA have recently cancelled their F2P model game, which I think is a good move. F2P CnC won't work, I am thoroughly looking forward to a new CnC which will hopefully keep up to this level and more. Don't let us down EA! (Wishful thinking I know)

TL;DR - If the game is on sale, buy it, but don't expect there to be a massive community on Steam. However, there are plenty of people doing game commentaries, one I like is a guy called GreenZero over on YouTube. Check out gamereplays.org too for replays, have a search on google for some custom maps too. I've had many hours of fun with this game (as you can see) plus hours I had with a non-steam copy. Highly reccomended.

My raiting - 4.5/5 I would give it 5/5 if there was better support and community here on Steam.

*** Thanks to A Random Goat for pointing out the custom servers for Kanes Wrath. It seems like on CnC Online (which the goat mentioned), they use 1.02 patch, I am not sure if you need 1.02+, if anyone could please clarify I would apprecaite that!

IDK wut to say.. As someone who has played and re-played all the games in the series....

This game comes with massive quality of life improvements.. from AI to UI the game has evolved from previous titles...

Only three races.. this kills me... Nothing to do but kill campaign on hard mode, which has it's moments if you are not OKAY at microing units.

How did I play old titles? campaign crushin n' bot smashin.. In this sense, however drastically more focused, is wut DoW3 brings to the table.

The AI has amazed me in so many ways. I MUCHLY ENJOY having bots on my team and ~~playing~~They respond like crazy catching things and patching things as I stumble around.. or when not playing Eldar... The AI has my back at every step with mad counters, and back-up support, leading while I poty brk rllllly quick....

Yea you can play vs people and with people. But has anyone ever enjoyed playing vs sweatty neck beards? No. Nobody likes to play vs someone who works at a game...

So I view the amazing AI and ability to enjoy the many many different races together in one campaign to be GREAT n' hilarious..

I just wish we had a star map system with several worlds in a constant state of warring.. like old school dune2 style u kno. but wut can I say.. I literally just roleplay that out as I go map to map..

IDK y ppl hate on this game so much.... one time purchase... no cash shop.... all paints unlocked wut??

U mean 2 say I can haz all unitz in game 4 free? n' can haz all dem cra cra colourez?

all blade spinnin orki boyz goin yolo? or smashin wit dem chompaz? any we want? oh okay den.

Game visual are amazing.

Thanks for not going over board and ruining the game... a lil undershot.. but wut is IS, and so we shall... SLAUGHTER ALL FOR THE SLAUGHTER GOD--blood.. for the ..... SKULLS uhh... LOTSO LOTSO SKULLZ YEAAA WARRRRHHHG!

State of Decay: YOSE is a third-person zombie apocalypse survival game developed by Undead Labs and published by Microsoft. State of Decay is a single player only game and somewhat a remaster of the first State of Decay complete with all DLC and more content.

State of Decay: YOSE gameplay remains the same, with some improvement like characters without melee weapon equipped now have knife as basic weapon. There also the new supply drop from CLEO, but to get the actual supplies, most of the time you have to fight a big horde with a few number of special infected. There's some new vehicles and weapons too, and characters from Lifeline can now be unlocked in Breakdown.

Graphics of State of Decay: YOSE supposed to be improved, but I hardly notice any of that improvement.

State of Decay: YOSE performance has also somewhat improved. The rare stutter I experience in the first game, I never experience them again here.

If you're looking for more friendly zombie apocalypse game, then State of Decay: YOSE is for you, since the game is single player only, you won't find yourself get shot from the back by somebody when you just spawn in the game. With deep gameplay mechanics, State of Decay: YOSE can entertain you for many hours. I recommend this.

Rating 9/10

lpha, Beta, Finished Product... I hear lots of Blah blah blahs complaining about this game not being out of Alpha after years and years, but it isn't like we've been paying a monthly fee for it. I paid one time to support this game and I've got years of play out of a product that I enjoy. There aren't too many games that scratch an itch like this game for me... Open World, completely editable/buildable environment and zombies! One of my biggest issues with a game that I like is that after I buy it, they release a few DLCs and then move on to their next product. Alpha, Beta, Finished or Not... the developers have given me years of standing by their product and many updates with new content and mechanics. For that alone, I love their game!

Graphics: 3 outta 5 graphics, she looks a little dated but they keep updating it... It looks better than it originally did. There's growth
Replayability: 5 outta 5
Gameplay:3 outta 5... sometimes she's a little clunky

I definitely still believe that this game is worth buying and that they devs and their product is worth supporting. Hopefully this is helpful to someone.
