This is a great DLC, highly recommend it.

March 6 update: Wow the nerve, the start screen now has an ad on it, these companies have no shame! To be honest I've yet to see much difference in the game after the 1.1 patch. The UI is still terrible!

Update Feb 15 2025: Wow I don't think the developers ever played a previous version of Civ. The UI is so bad. A simple example, when I settlement completes a building the game didn't tell you what was just built. A general example, you can change the map zoom level, but it keeps getting reset!

Very early review. I will update when I've played more. For now I'd recommend holding off buying the game, quite simply it's terrible value for money. The game does not feel finished. For example there are only 3 map sizes, with the largest being standard. I'm concerned that there's no larger maps because the game performance is not where is should me. On the other hand it could be a money grab and they will be in a DLC later.

A total waste of money. I only have it because it was bundled.

A bit disappointing.

This game would be good, but a game subscription model is so obsolete. If they changed this to a regular game with a one off payment and released for pay DLCs when they add significant new content then I would play and recommend it, until them people may want to avoid this game.

For early access this game is amazing. It's in far better shape than Cities Skylines II at it's full release, and it's half the price. I can't wait to see where this game goes.

This is what a DLC should be. RimWorld never disappoints.
