I really wanted to like the game because the atmosphere and the look of the xenomorphs are exquisite, but the gameplay is tedious and the puzzles are frustrating when you're constantly bombarded by more enemies every couple of minutes.

Very close to being worth it but down to the half-baked gameplay and the switcheroo the developers pulled prior to launch - not disclosing it was only part one - can't recommend it. If you're a fan of the alien franchise buy it at a minimum 50% discount, anyone else just avoid it altogether.
