This game is wonderful! Thank you so much for taking the time to make this game and breath life into the Star Trek Universe with this title. Resurgence is the perfect title for the game. I genuinely felt as a fan of Star Trek IP (primarily the TNG/Voyager/DS9 era) that the story/setting/world building of this game does it justice. The team behind this game did incredibly well with the IP with their interpretation of the content while telling their own unique story. I would LOVE to see more from this team. I want every member of the team who made this game to live long and prosper.

This game is very well done. Basically fire emblem style with turn based strategy. The story is engaging and can be replayed multiple times, experimenting with different builds each time. Highly recommend.

The game is both very simple and yet very challenging. It offers a good amount of variety of strategy and chill gaming experience at the same time. Free to play with pay to advance faster mechanics. The adventure mode is very tough. You'd recommend if you are looking for a game you can play either "try hard" or "relaxed" depending on the mood.

This is a very well done game and I highly recommend it for the price point. Keep in mind I am more of an "experience the story" fun kind of strategy gamer rather than "try hard":

Pros:
- The music is incredible, easily one of its strongest features. Industrial gothic electro hybrid. Do not knock it till you try it.
- The sounds are also spectacular, the "voice acting" is extremely well done for the setting and is a really cool take on giving each character their own "voice"
- Game play is straight forward to learn, especially if you have played an xcom like game, and can be customized to fit whatever experience you want. You can have a god mode cake walk to just have a story focused experience or have your entire squad fighting a lost cause against the weakest unit in the game.
- Immersion into the 40k universe. I was personally new to what 40k was around the time I played this game and it already had me buying miniatures and looking into the books buy the time I had finished it. I had a burning desire to see and experience more.
- Repeatability. After you play it once there is enough content and options to make you want to play a second time through, where the reasons I listed above were enough for me to try it a second time. I have heard there are multiple endings to the game too and I can easily see that.
- The strategic options are endless. I came here to review the game based on MandaloreGames suggestion and he and I had very different play styles from how he described his. For example, he said the balance for melee units was a bit off when he could have a range unit that could take down a mass of enemy units with one shot. For me, my melee unit was one of my most effective units to help me complete missions because of the strategic options it provided. I do not want to say more without spoiling it, but I recommend you play the game and see what you can do!
- In my massive steam Library it is one of the few games that has driven me to completing it. If that is not a glowing recommendation I do not know what else will convince you.

Cons:
- I really have nothing negative to say about the game for its price point. I have bought $60 games with less immersion, challenge and fun than this game. Any criticism I have written below is written for if this game was sold at 60 dollars.
- I found myself playing on the same maps multiple times, however they rotate the map on you so it is not nearly as noticeable. It would be nice to have more variety on the maps throughout the game.

Side Notes:
- The difficulty in the game is hard to summarize. I first tried the game on normal and on the second mission I lost the game when all my tech priests died. I then played the game through on easy which at the beginning was the right difficulty for me, but then I felt that I had snowballed pretty heavily by the end of the game. From this I feel the game is tailored towards the peram death ironman kind of play, but that should not detract you from enjoying it and giving it a whirl. You can definitely make this game a tailored experience to you with what it offers.

Great Game!

It is an extremely well made game. Certain elements can get repetative at times but I love it all the same and cannot wait for what comes next. As some one who loves strategy and battletech lore, this was a master piece.

The game had so much potential, then it just B-Slaps you straight in the face with a dumb butt ending. Not worth $20 more like 10 tops.

Winning in this game is like me getting laid, its never going to happen, but i sure having fun attempting to!
