UPDATE: Yes! I like it. Most problems have been solved and fixed. A really good game imo.



So after being on the fence for some time I finally decided to get this game. Turns out I got it a few days before NEXT hit the update cycle. And I have to say I enjoyed it, a LOT. Now I can see why some people don't like it and think it's boring and not the game promised bt as a game I really liked it. So why the thumbs down (and it's a big thumbs down)... Well... oh dear.

I've sunk ~50 hours last I checked on this game and how far have I gotten? I'M RIGHT AT THE VERY FIRST START I.E. I DON'T EVEN HAVE MY FIRST SHIP!

So here's what's happened:
I started pre-NEXT and played until I was to return to ARTEMIS with the arc. Now since that is done via portal you need the coordinates to be logged. Well, the NEXT update wiped my entire portal so no way to return to ARTEMIS basically making the save unusable. That save had a sweet 44 slot A hauler, 22 slot multitool etc. So no cigar on that one. ~24h spent for nothing.

Restart from scratch after NEXT only to, a few hours in, notice that some milestones don't register... so once again to the rafters.

3rd time, got a freighter... and a bug that makes the floor disappear when I load the game making me fall into space (all saves on the bloody thing). So back to the drawing board.

4th time... Looking good... making millions poaching eggs, nice shuttle, 17 slot multitool within the first few hours. Started building a base. Save and log out for the night... When I start to load it up it says 4:44 on played time etc. Only problem... it spawns me in the beginning i.e. no gear, no materials, no blueprints, no ship, no nothing. So useless save and back to square one again...

So... my ONLY option right now is to finnish this game in one(!) sitting hoping nothing happens... The option to get a refund has passed since I've put too many hours into it.

So in short: A game that you easily can put hundreds of hours on but lacks a save function. Well twist my nipples and call me bob but that's bad.
