This game, in it's current state, is a mess. The first thing I noticed after booting it up is how much worse the graphics are than the photos on the store page. Everything looks blurry, muddy, and generally uninspired. I thought my resolution was set to something horrible at first, but no, this is actually how it looks in 1920x1080...

For a couple hours, I explored a pretty generic looking open world map while getting raped by level 50 players with absolutley no chance of defending myself. Occasionally an alien that looks exactly like a necromorph from Dead Space would spawn, and I would be able to get a bit of XP from killing it. The spawns were few and far between, and the encounters themselves were pretty boring. I don't have any motivation to keep playing to gain access to new gear, because quite frankly the sandbox in which to use them is so uninteresting and uninspired. What is the backstory here? There's a big shattered moon in the sky, why? What's the deal with these aliens? Why is any of this happening? Nothing is even remotely explained to you, you are just dropped into this random scenario.

This game could probably be pretty decent if more work was put into it. It just doesn't feel like anything more than a super shallow open world shooter that was either rushed, or was never intended to do much more than get some of your money.

My main suggestions:

You need to do something about the game balance, new players will be immediately turned off by getting slaughtered over and over again before they can even find any worthwhile gear.

For the love of god, please do something about your renderer. There is no good reason the game to look this muddy.

Tell a story with your environments! We get everything is run down and apocolyptic, but why?
