This game will force you to preform grueling, life threatening missions on a hostile alien planet for meager pay, cheap beer, and beard cosmetics. And it's easily one of the best multiplayer games I've played this year.

Gameplay is tight, there's a ton of progression mechanics that keep me coming back, and despite only having a few variations, the missions are immensely replayable and enjoyable. This is the kind of game that scratches that L4D itch while improving on so many aspects of it. The devs are constantly updating this game and their attention and dedication to making DRG an amazing experience is nothing short of impressive. The random cave generation can be a bit frustrating, especially when your only means of escape is precariously over a bottomless pit, and of course this game has its fair share of bugs (both literal and technical). Overall though, these few complaints I have don't impact the sheer amount of fun this game provides

If you're looking for a game to spend hundreds of hours in with 3 of your friends, or hell even with total strangers, I cannot recommend Deep Rock Galactic enough. 9/10

"If you do not own this game for steam than you deserve to have blood thirsty monkies attack your home devor your pets and urinate over your first born child. In other words this game is awesome!!"

I made this review I think around a decade ago. I was a (obviously) a young kid who had just found one of his favourite games of all time. And nearly a decade later I have sunk countless hours and met dozens of amazing people in this silly, ole hat game with guns that we call Team Fortress 2. It has stood the test of time and is a rare achievement in the gaming industry.

With all of this said; I cannot in good faith recommend that you play this game. You see the average TF2 experience is boring at best, miserable at worst because over the course of the last 5 years, TF2 has been taken over by bot hosters, angered by a lack of support and updates to the game, who are hellbent to infest every casual server with cheating sniper aimbots to ruin the game for anyone who plays it.

And the sad thing is it kinda worked.

It breaks my heart that this game is no longer one that I'm excited to talk about with friends anymore. It's always "wasn't TF2 great?" and never "isn't TF2 great?" because it is no longer great. TF2, in it's current state, is an utter disappointment and I can't fathom a single reason to recommend it to anyone now a days.

But it doesn't have to end like this. Valve, hear us when we say you need to take action. This problem is yours to solve and yet you have consistently decided to sit and allow your game to be actively ruined by bot hosters. You have the power to turn this around and to remind everyone why TF2 has lasted as long as it has. Valve, you truly can Save TF2.

Also, I'm sure LazyPurple will be pissed if the game isn't fixed when he drops his Medic video next decade so come on fellas, let's get on the damn point.
