Number of monthly players online has been on the decline over the past few years and while the games relative complexity to other MOBAs may be one reason, the utterly bad matchmaking algorithm by Valve is definitely to blame for the most part. Players have been and are complaining about facing either significantly too tough or too weak opponents. Time to do something about it...

First take after 2 hours is simply: Wow! This game is >the< game changer for VR I have been waiting for. The attention to detail in the graphics (whether it's pigeons, machinery, weapons, anything really) and VR interaction is genuinely amazing and speaks for the passion that's gone into its development - kudos Valve! I opted for teleportation as a means of moving about and it's really pleasant to play that way, no nausea. Obviously using the 'knuckles' wouldnt have been even nicer for interaction but the Quest controllers worked just fine though handling the gun quickly in the heat of battle can get tricky.

Let's hope GabeN lets Robin do many more VR half lives as he wanted to in the recent IGN interview...
