Dont buy this until they fix the matchmaking. 343 have the biggest grudge against Bungie's Halo and have made all playlists bar from infection and Invasion run their TU (title update mode), which reduces bloom, allows shield bleedthrough (meaning melee will go through shield and kill) and makes DMR/AR the starting weapon. Reduced bloom on DMR also means that you're not going to use anything other than maybe the sniper as you can drop players from across the map in 5-6 shots. Playing anything like territories or CTF is a nightmare as everyone just camps in one spot scanning for someone to step out into the open where the whole team focus fires and drops them dead in seconds.

This is NOT the Reach I remember playing. 343 have used people's nostalgia to make some ez money whilst trying to force their ''''vision'''' for Halo onto everyone that stopped playing at 4 because of their lazy, cookie-cutter approach.

PC mapping is beyond stupid. One button for one action, meaning you cant zoom in with snipers quickly.

The unlock system has been gutted and butchered beyond recognition. Instead of unlocking armour through campaign or other methods, everyone is railroaded into the same unlock progression system. 1 unlock per level, but with the amount of customisation Reach has, good luck on getting any decent combinations until high level. The matchmaking goes off the MCC system as well, which means no more vetoing or voting for maps before the round starts, so enjoy playing the same 3 maps over and over and over until you alt-f4 to go play something else. I feel ripped off for this and I only paid £7. How on earth do I get buyer's remorse on a £7 purchase of my favourite entry into one of my all time favourite Sci-Fi franchises of the last decade?

tl;dr 343 bottled it, get it when they fix all of the above and more in 2 years time or if it goes on sale for less than a fiver.
