One of the first horror games I every played, and still one of the best. lots of games can get you scared but rarely will they blow your mind with a truly deep story at the same time

A game briming with atomsphere, decent puzzles, and an incredible story. the replay value is low... but the experience in unforgettable

What this game lacks in gameplay, it makes up for in feels. The music and art style really come together to set the perfect mood to bring a tear to your eye. These are the games I point to when people say the video games aren't an art form.

This was a mixed bag for me: On one hand Combat is meh, but STEALTH MISSIONS ARE AWESOME, boss fights are bland, but MARK HAMILL IS AWESOME

This game was fun, I'd call it a linear Assasins Creed with batman. 7/10

I'm a huge fan of the AVP franchise but this game just doesnt quite cut it.
The Predator and Alien campaigns are really fun and challenging. BUT!!!! the marine campaign is frustrating as all get up.


You know somthing is wrong when your motion tracker picks up every little moving thing, this includes things like stationary fans, lifts, and dead alien bodies that arent moving? (they havent finshed their dying animation TT_TT) its almost pointless to look at the motion tracker, cause by the time you look down at it an alien will already be hacking at yo shins. OH! and did I mention this game is fast.. like rocket rollerskates on your feet fast. This isnt a bad thing in the slightest but it definitly favors the alien and predator with thier strong melee attacks.

And if your looking for story (like me) I swear there isnt one. as marine you're just dumped in a map and a guy tells you to go push buttons just because. as for alien and predator your objective is to just smash and kill the hell outa things.

most nostaligia people will hate me but, srry! i was spoiled with AVP 2 and AVP 2 Primal hunt which imo is still the top AVP game of all time. So with a sad heart I would honestly say i wouldnt recommend this game. :(

VERDICT: Fun but lacking 6/10

Bioware games tend to be a hit or miss for me. I hated KOTOR, but loved jade empire... But this game..this game is one of the deepest games ive ever played. The characters are so real, the story is great and stays on track, and the combats great (third person with opintional coverbased). if your a fan of Sci-fi, and haven't already bought this for console, this is a must play series that i would highly reccomend to everyone.

I personally give it a 5/5 for the universe this game sets up, the charters you meet, the emotions it stired, and the story it tells.

I will also note that this is an RPG, so all you COD lovers probably wont appreciate the story this game has to offer
