Fast playing area control, cdg. Only played with A.i. which can still be challenging. If you're intrigued by the concept, but on the fence or hesitant to play a board game like this, it has a great tutorial and is a great entry game to historical, card driven war games. Playdeck design of this app is similar to their Twilight Struggle app, and they kocked it out of the park again. Hope pc designers continue to make board game apps like this one. Praying to the board game gods to see an app of a COIN game one day.

Best automated board game app. Medium/ heavyish civilization, tableau builder with an excellent tutorial. Online games can start off in less than ten minutes, which is fast compared to most online playerbases in board game apps. If you don't want to play online, you're in for a treat, because there's varying diffficulty of A.I. to compete with. What makes this the best board game app for me besides it's user-friendly interface is it's "Challenges." Challenges are varients on the original Through the Ages game but have twists like you have the same leader the whole game or your culture production is only a 1/3 compared to opponents. Each challenge will make you strategize differently keeping this game extra fresh. And if you're an achievement hunter like me, there's tons of tough, fun achievements to acquire like winning a game with Democracy and McDonalds. Money well spent.

First episode playthrough took a little over three hours, and so far I'm loving this prequel and wondering what will happen next and how the story leads up to the original Life is Strange. Enjoying Chloe's inner dialogue more than how Max's was. No rewind superpower, but Chloe has a "gift" with words making it an enjoyable, realistic mechanic. And it feels like there are more dialogue choices than the original. Bonus they fleshed out the character of Rachel, who I didn't care too much about in the first Life is Strange, now making her a character to be invested in. If you played the original and liked it, I think you will enjoy this one too. First one was the first game to make me cry, still seeing if this one will have that effect on me too. Still so many emotions to feel in the first episode.

Heavy economic, euro, auction, resource, competitve game. There is nothing fancy about the mod- no sounds and multiple buttons, but it has great solid gameplay and a nice rulebook.

First time playing the railroad building, economic board game and loving it. Tutorial was short and easy to grasp. A couple playthroughs should help you with the mechanics and get a grasp of the game. Only have played A.I, which are challenging enough for me as noob, but probably a lot easier for veteran players. At the moment, the online player base is slim so wanting to play against real people, "good luck."

Have had a bug issue a couple times of wanting to change my mind and dragged the railroad track back to the supply which froze the game. To avoid this, I recommend hitting the "undo" button instead. Hopefully devs fix this issue soon. Also to note when rotating track pieces, use arrow keys instead of using your mouse; the mouse makes rotation more fiddly.

As for players complaining that the base game only comes with two maps and the dlc maps are too expensive, there seems to be a lot of meat to this game already for a decent asking price. Real board games are not cheap and are a niche market so I see this game as a bargain.

Just need the bugs fixed and hopefully more train enthusiasts. Choo Choo.

Is you inner-child a detective wannabe? Do you enjoy falling down the rabbit hole of wikipedia? Enjoy writing on scratch paper when playing a video game? If you answered yes to those questions, then this game is for you. I missed out on the past live events they held so far, but I am looking forward to the future ones. Even though I missed the events, I have fallen in love with this game. This game isn't for everybody, but if you have ever stopped at some interactive mystery solving toursist attraction and loved it, then this game is probably for you.

If you like the board game or have an interest in medium/complex strategic war board games I would highly recommend this. A physical game of Twilight Struggle in real-life can take 3+ hours, whereas you can finish a game on here in an hour. The one downside is, the player base isn't very large and may take a little time getting an online game going. Frequently you'll see people post on the chat, "Where are all the players?" However, I have never had to wait for a player more than 10 minutes. I recommend when hosting a game to post in the lobby chat that you have listed a game because doing so should bring a player within minutes. The game also includes a rating system; however, it doesn't automatically include an option to filter people who are in the same range as you so it is up to you if want to play with a person who is a different rank than you are. I still enjoy playing this in real life but it sure does cut out the maintenance of number crunching, tells you the odds for dice rolls, calculates region scores, and even warns you if you're about to play a card that can trigger a nuclear war. 10/10

This is the first MMO I've played, and I must say it's been quite a treat. The base game includes plenty of content, but I would strongly suggest the Ultimate Edition. At first, I was wondering what I was getting into it. The gameplay seemed overwhelming without much of a tutorial. However, after digging around for info to get a grasp of the game, I began to realize how great of a game it was.

The story is immersive and the quests are excellent. I especially love the investigation quests; these quests will have you googling and cross-referencing the most obscure information, which may rack your brain, but anyone who loves reading up on random facts and history or once dreamed of being Sherlock Holmes will surely love these quests. And of course, I have to recommend a game that has me using a pen and tons of scratch paper.

And of course the combat. Not being much of a combat-game person, I do enjoy it in this game. I was in-experienced in deck-building (still am), hence how it may be overwhelming to a newbie MMO player at first.

In terms of community, you're not going to see hundreds of people running around and the amount of general chat in most areas will be pretty minimal. But there are ways to find groups to join. Most people tend to be playing solo unless they're playing in dungeons or PVP.

Only con I have is the occasional crash, otherwise 10/10.

Guess what happened when I put the movie Glitter in my primetime lineup with mostly men watching? Let's just say I quickly went bankrupt on my first try. Very highly addicting game with pop culture references. Silent Bob is outside selling bootleg movies and Doc Brown works in the tech lab while the Pulp Fiction dudes are your shady go to for loans. This game is a must have for movie buffs who also like tycoon games. You make money from advertising. So when I played Silence of the Lambs when mostly Children were watching, I understandably lost money while airing my commercial.

You compete with two other A.I players trying to vie for the most audience and demographic happiness. Charts show you what your competition has in their lineup. I imagine this game would be amazing with online multiplayer. My one gripe is the music/ sounds--repititive and annoying. But that's an easy fix with the mute button.

Well put together strategy game with good replay value. And Pee Wee's Playhouse was in the movie/tv show catalog so of course I have to recommend.

It's the love child of The Sims and Oregon Trail; however when my Sim was sad, it didn't tug at my heartstrings like this game manages to do. This brilliant strategy game has your survivors looting, crafting, combating, and bartering all while trying to manage their basic survival needs like sleep, health, food, and comfort. The choices you make are important because some characters are better at cooking others at running. These characters have truly come to life because of how their actions may take a toll on their conscience. Realistic setting, great strategy, and sensitive subject matter tackled eloquently makes this game a high recommendation.
