Game has potential but needs a lot more polish before I can recommend it. Lots of small bugs that takes away from the experience.

It feel like the game tries to blend a lot of different ideas together, but fails to deliver a solid experience at any of them. It take some inspiration from games like lethal company, but the enemy AI is really weird, enemies tend to just suddenly run towards you (or get stuck somewhere). Game throws a bunch of weapons, so it's not really a game where you should try to be stealthy. At the same time, it doesn't feel like a shooter either, because monsters don't spawn frequently enough, and the gunplay doesn't feel that good. Then there is the among us-style mechanics. I can't comment on it because I didn't play the game enough to experience it fully, but it didn't seem very impressive.

I think you need to have a fairly large group of friends to play with to enjoy it. The map is pretty big, and if you're just a small group you can't really play together or you'll run out of time, or you'll split up and it becomes a single player game.

With that said, it seems like the developer is actively improving the game, so I might give it another try in the future.

Unfortunately last patch added a completely bugged word filter. I understand wanting to censor swear words (although it should be toggleable). One question was "Batman", but the word Batman was censored for some reason, which also caused the game to bug out, so we had to quit. Many other weird words got censored. Until this is fixed, I will give thumbs down because the game is broken right now.

A nice surprise to see the developers respond so quickly, I've updated my review to positive.

I got interested in the game after reading 'co-op' and 'roguelike' in the description, so me and a friend decided to buy it and play together on sale. The game was quite charming in several ways, but ultimately it fell short in the most important decision for me: the co-op experience. It's clear the game was never designed with co-op in mind, and that it was just added later.

The thing that disappointed me the most was realizing that a huge part of the roguelike aspect isn't available to the second player. After our first run I was excited to level up my character and customize it to suit my playstyle, only to find out that only the host of the game (not me at that time) got to do that, player 2 would just copy the host's skill points.

The game is probably worth it if you don't play it for the co-op and buy it when it's on sale. I can't recommend it as a 20$ game.

I've never seen a game being so simple and fun at the same time.
