This is not like other Tekken games. People wanted a "new" Tekken similar to how Tekken 4 was. This is that change where the new thing is that being an offensive player has a better pay off than being a defensive player.

Buy this version instead of the remastered version. Comes with everything

By far one of the best 3d Fighters out there for PC. There is a big learning curve and anyone that's new to Tekken should also purchase the Frame Data add-on. (yes its a separate purchase which i don't agree with; however, its the one training tool that will allow you to see the fighter data and counter correctly).

If you are new to this game, a couple things i would recommend for purchases:
The base game itself is alright, you might like the season passes; however, the ones that are more relevant are season 2 and 4 as those have the more popular characters/ stages.

1. After purchasing the frame data add on, go to training and skim through the characters to get an idea of what fighting style you like to play with.

2. After you pick a character, go into the training mode and learn what counter combos your character uses and what frames they are. You can also practice with a CPU in training and itll tell you what counter should be used against what move.

3. you can go into Treasure battle to unlock more outfits for your character (i believe thats the only way to unlock outfits). Or you can go straight into online mode.

4. dont be discouraged when playing online, there are some smurfs out there (just like most games); however, view it as a learning opportunity to go through your replays and see what moves they used frequently and then go to training and learn the counter plays to them.

5. There are mods to help customize your character that you'll be able to find and they are well worth it (only youll be able to see your mod, not other players).

6. Most importantly HAVE FUN

Multiplayer is so bad, just buy the OG modern warefare edition, the multiplayer is better on that one. this one is complete trash. I initialy didnt believe a lot of the reviewrs here since it mainly got negative reviews, but turns out they were right.
